  23. - 2 Phase Tournament: Swiss Rounds into Double Elimination bracket
  24. All participants will play in a first phase of swiss rounds that will lead into a final championship bracket. The number of rounds and bracket finalists will be determined by the total of registered participants, meaning all players will have at least 3 to 5 matches in tournament, as shown below.
  25. < 8 entrants = 4 Swiss Rounds, Top 2 Bracket
  26. 9 to 12 entrants = 4 Swiss Rounds, Top 6 Bracket
  27. 13 to 15 entrants = 5 Swiss Rounds, Top 6 Bracket
  28. 16 < entrants = 5 Swiss Rounds, Top 8 Bracket
  29.
  30. - To complete your tournament registration, you must submit a Folder 1, Folder 2 (if applicable) and NaviCustomizer build to tournament organizers no later than May 23. You can do this by listing the contents of your Folder 1/2 and NaviCust in a text file or in a message to tournament organizers via Discord.
  31.
  32. - You must be able to record your matches using whatever tools you are comfortable with (OBS, VBA Recording, HyperCam, etc.), this is obligatory for verification purposes. At least one player in each tournament match must be able to record the match and provide it to the organizers.
  33. - All matches will have a 45 minute time limit from the time of start; if after 45 minutes your match has not ended, it will be resolved through a tiebreaker. Additionally, all matches will have 3 connection attempts; if after 3 attempts you cannot establish connection with your opponent to complete the match, it will be resolved through a tiebreaker (see below for more information on tiebreakers).
  34. - If you are not present for your match 5 minutes after the round starts, you will receive a round loss 0-2.
  35. - If you are not present for two consecutive rounds, you will be dropped from the event.
  36.

  48. CHECK-IN
  49. - Upon closing registration, from May 24 until May 26 there will be a Tournament Check-In to confirm attendee numbers for bracketing, as well as to troubleshoot connection issues prior to the actual event. It will take place in the N1GP Discord channel #n1gp-event and requires only to message one of the tournament organizers to confirm your attendance. If you do not check-in before May 26 @ 11:00 AM CDT, your registration will not be upheld.
  50. - If you have any issues when setting up prior to the event, feel free to reach out to the tournament organizers or the N1GP Discord during check-in time for troubleshooting and assistance.

  52. TIEBREAKERS & OTHER
  53. - In the event of a connection issue, glitch (starting in Exhausted State, instant death, disappearing chips/panels, etc.) or desync during a match, the match will be replayed. If the issue occurred while the set was 1-0 or 1-1, only the remaining rounds need to be played.
  54. - If a tournament match cannot finish either due to connection issues or going past the round time limit, it will be decided through a tiebreaker. Both players will have 3 attempts to fight ProtoManSP using the Extra Folder 'AprtcFld' found next to said boss fight in ACDC. After 3 attempts, the player with the fastest Delete Time will advance as the winner of that match. Image (screenshot of Delete Time) and video verification will be required.
  55. - If the same player presents connection issues for 2 or more matches consecutively, they may be disqualified at the tournament organizer's discretion to ensure the event can continue.
  56.
  57. - For any other issues or details, please contact the tournament organizers.
