She was born in Shanghai, China and lived there for 5 years. She then later moved to the California, her parents pursuing the dream of opening a restaurant, where it later got a lot of population for it's amazing Chinese cuisine. In her second year of middle school (8th grade) she discovered Kpop, Girls Generation being the first group she stanned. In her sophomore year of High school, she transferred to Korea for her schools' student exchange program for a year. She then learned a bit of Korean over her year there.
