  16. [12/31/2014 8:17:29 PM] Scoots: I'll probably get a new streaming program in the near future, but my main focus is to get use to digital art now with the tablet, tradition isn't doesn't have as much praise anymore unless it's a damn manga from shonen jump or otherwise
  17. [12/31/2014 8:20:26 PM] EC - Personal: Yeah, traditional art really isn't as well-respected online anymore, unless you've been practicing with it so much that you become a master of the craft. It'll probably be best to update your drawing style, and there are plenty of benefits to learning digital drawing as well.

Sometimes, my dad takes me to church with him on Sundays, and I always bring my sketch pad so I can get some sketch practice in there. A lot of the people there see my art, and they're always really impressed by it. It feels good to be acknowledged like that, so I just draw in public every chance I get.

I'll likely be working on Argyl next after I start officially organizing all the characters in my gallery in a way that's easier to access them all. Probably with links in a journal soon.

It's taken me a while just to get to the point of concerning it, because I liked the idea of having her two-dimensional. But it does makes a lot of sense to have her 3-D, so she'll gain respect as a serious character as well.

TF will be a consistent theme with this comic, but it will also be more like a graphic novel as well, with long-running stories and a serious tone at times as well. As far as designing characters go, I suppose it's about finding a balance between the silly and edgy stuff.

Living in my imagination took away almost all my motivation to draw, and I need that motivation if I ever want to make a happier life for myself.
