Head Lifeguard

Duties
* Opening, or closing, tasks where applicable.
* Delegate maintenance tasks/duties to ensure even distribution of work among guards/staff.
* Motivate and where needed, direct staff to meet operational goals.
* Ensure lifeguard to patron ratios are met.
* Identify pool and pool deck hazards and resolve them.
* Ensure cleanliness and surrounding areas.
* Sign off on staff sign-in/out at end of shift.
* Make necessary operational decisions for the safety of staff and the public (i.e. close pool bodies, water features, sauna, etc.). Where possible, liaison with Centre Manager and where applicable, Maintenace Staff, prior to pool closure.
