  1. Hey guys, how’s it goin?
  2.
  3. Now that the Tetris Attack tournament is over, I can put my mind into other things that have interested me, like spinning tops. I seriously don't have any attachment to Beyblade, but once I play one GBA game, I am contractually obligated to play more of them. Moreover, if I can do something that no one else has shown themselves to do, I also feel an obligation to show myself doing it to contribute something new to the world. This is how my BattleBots: Design and Destroy itch came up and this is how VForce: Ultimate Blader Jam also came to be.

  5. 42 normal platforming levels, 7 boss battle levels, and 7 bonus platforming levels; this is Ultimate Blader Jam in a nutshell. There's not much of what makes Beyblade special to people, but I guess platforming with these spinning tops is a logical expansion to make after seeing some of the things the anime does with them. I've made it my goal to go as fast as possible in each individual level. That includes making tool-assisted runs of every level to figure out what is possible and replicating it on console. I tried to scratch this itch a couple of months ago by going through every round in episode 1 (every level in the first world) and getting six out of eight of those records. Now, I really want to optimize them as much as I can. So far, I can't get any faster than the current record of 2.12 seconds on 1-1 with or without tools. However, I have also gotten an improvement to 3.47 on 1-2 with no tools. Yeah, these levels are short. Thankfully. I'm gonna need to find something that shows the internal speed value, though, before taking these levels more seriously. Spinning tops is serious business, you know.

  7. I am going to try and get back to a regular schedule with a weekday project and a weekend project. Beyblade is the weekend project of the moment. The weekday project will almost certainly be something Puzzle League related because the runs will be short and my time will be limited. I think I'm gonna start with getting the 8 second Tetris Attack Lakitu documented on how to get it consistently and doing V-Hard runs with it. I think I could find a way to improve my time with that. Maybe.

  9. Oh, and the 5G shot went fine. I expected symptoms for my obese ass. My arm at the point of the shot is still sore, but nothing happened from the vaccine itself. Makes me wonder if it even did anything. I've heard about its reduced effectiveness in overweight people. My workplace is now open to the public again so I suppose time will tell if it is effective.
  10.
  11. That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
