- Land of faces and frogs
- Physical Description
- The landscape is primarily red rock. Morphed into the rock are the Faces, which vary in size and range from finely detailed sculptures to just the barest hint of two eyes and a mouth. The Faces are also common entrances to caves. There are also two types of lakes: yellow sulphurous lakes which can pump out noxious gases or even be set alight; the others are green lakes that almost always have Faces staring up from the bedrock. The sky is almost always overcast.
- Possible landmarks include: a tall tower of Faces, an underground river, the quest cocoon, got tier clock (is just a dud?), the garden of candles
- The Ghosts
- The ghosts are an extra type of creature unique to the land, much like the angels and brains. Most follow set paths flying across the sky in orderly lines and lanes while a few drift by themselves. The most important are related to quests and are either being tortured or hanging around something significant. How do the common ghosts react to players getting near them? Are they drawn to anything? They resemble the ones summoned by Aradia to haunt Vriska: they are clearly trolls though vague in form, not like the white eyed ghosts in the veil. Do they represent real trolls who just died by meteor? Is it possible they are literally the souls of the recently deceased?
- Thematically they are represent Zekeke's main fear and concern: what will happen to her when she dies. They are also strongly tied to the Doom aspect
- The Faces
- Just freaky landscaping or something more? A few of the faces have working eyes that follow your movements while others have working mouths that whisper and talk. Are these few 'living' faces special or are all the others just sleeping? What exactly are they for?
- The Consorts
- The Chameleons maintain consort goofiness despite the gloomy atmosphere. They do complain about the noise wailing ghosts make. It seems they used run things around her before derse and the denizen shook things up. What exactly were they doing before, and how where the ghosts involved with that?
- The Denizen Persephone
- All that is generally known from the consorts is that the denizen is as much a prisoner of planet as the ghosts. Has derse promised her release once the upstart hero has been dealt with? She's always wanted to spend half of the year on another planet...
- The Quest
- The ghosts must be dealt with, one way or another. Will they be banished to non-existence? Tortured for past crimes? Laid to rest after their un-finished business is dealt with? Who will be the one to ask for help in this task?
- Minigame
- Collectibles
- Certain feathers can be found in various places. How did they get here? There are no birds on the planet. One supposes the birds could have migrated. But that would mean crossing the gulf of whatever that lies between planets. There is one species of bird that can do that. But then, those are non migratory. These are the sorts of things a hero of doom needs to know. Oh, the feather? There'll probably be someone interested in them.
- Possible Connections With Other Lands
- Land of Tombs and Oxygen – as non-existence is one possible fate for souls there might be a connection here.
- Land of Fountains and Dust – as life opposes doom there might be a connection here.
- Others - ghostly unfinished business might need visits to other lands.
- Overarching Theme
- Strong underworld theme designed to tantalize zekeke with answers to her questions about what happens when you die. Indirectly questions how lives are judged and the legacies they leave.
