  1. • +2 CHA, +2 DEX, -2 STR, -2 WIS
  2. • Size: Medium.
  3. • Type: Monstrous Humanoid.
  4. • Ground Move: 20'.
  5. • Swim Move: 20'. +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. A naga can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered. They can use the run action while swimming to swim faster in a straight line.
  6. • Amphibious (Ex): Naga can breathe both air and water.
  7. • Belly Grip: While on a solid surface(even ice or the deck of a ship) and conscious, a naga's belly scutes maintain a grip that makes them resistant to slipping or to being moved — whether by spell, by combat maneuver, by nature of the surface, or otherwise. A naga has a +2 racial bonus on checks to resist such effects, and separately, a 10% chance to be missed by such effects(whether or not they offer a check to resist). A naga can release or reestablish their belly grip as a free action.

  12. • Bite: A naga has a bite natural attack, dealing 1D4 piercing damage and possibly injecting venom(below). This can be used as one of their regular attacks at no penalty, or as a secondary extra attack in a full attack action.
  13. • Naga Venom: A naga can produce venom from their fangs [CON] times per day as a reaction. Usually, this is done in reaction to a successful bite attack, or in order to milk their own venom. A naga is also immune to all naga venom. A naga's venom DC is [10 + ½HD + CON Mod]; naga venom deals 1D6 CON/1D6 CON damage. After an hour it denatures, but before then an alchemist can start the process of preservation(DC = venom DC, market price [Venom DC]gp). Any failed Craft: Alchemy check denatures the venom, ruining the attempt.

  18. Prereq: Naga race
  19. Benefit: You have a humanoid form, of the same sex and reminiscent facial features. Your humanoid form is human, elf, dwarf, ork, or some mix thereof. (Other "regular" humanoid races can be added, with the GM's approval.) Choose the physical details, which remain constant for the rest of your life. In humanoid form you lose Belly Grip and your swim move, but your ground move increases from 20' to 30'(before other adjustments), and you have a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks to pretend to be of your humanoid form's race. Your stats otherwise remain the same.
  20. You have a serpent form, of the same sex and reminiscent scales. Choose the physical details, which remain constant for the rest of your life. In serpent form you lose the use of your arms, but you gain a climb move equal to your ground move(before other adjustments), and you have a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks to pretend to be an ordinary Medium viper.
  21. Gain the Shapechanger creature subtype. As a move action, you can switch between your natural form, humanoid form, and serpent form.
