Special cheesecakes

Alexithymiaa: -Noah had gone and bought all the ingredients to try to bake special cheesecakes, laying it all out on the counter in front of him and leaning in to read the recipe instructions he'd pulled up on his phone. He scratched at the back of his head, trying to make sense of what he was reading and some of the tips.-
Covet: "So.. do you think we can do it? " She said as she looked at everything. "What do we need to start with?"
Alexithymiaa: "I think so, yeah. We need to do the crust on the bottom first. So grab the sugar, graham crackers, and butter." He said, turning to get a bowl down from the cabinet to combine them all in.-
Covet: "Okay." She said grabbing the sugar, and graham crackers, then went to the fridge to get the butter out. " I'm assuming you have to melt the butter to do this right?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh..... yeah, melted." He said as he read the recipe on his phone, sticking the bowl in front of her. "It's basically supposed to look like wet sand when you're done mixing." He told her as he went about getting another bowl down for the cheesecake part of their recipe. FIshing out the electric hand mixer, he added his cream cheese to a bowl and then stick the mixer in it, beginning to beat his cream cheese.- (LOLOL)

Covet: "Okay." She said getting a bowl out to put the butter into it and nuke it for a few minutes. Once it was done she went about putting the graham cracker crumbs and sugar into the melted butter, mixing it up with a fork to make sure it all got coated in the butter. "Okay, How's this look? Wet Sand enough?"
Alexithymiaa: -He held the electric mixer over the top of his bowl, keeping it steady so he didnt hit the sides too much as he glanced over at her crust mixture. "Looks good. Just press it down into the paper cups in the pan."-
Covet: "Got it." Tae said to him and started putting it down into the bottom of the cups making a nice even layer, that might have been a little thicker than needed, but she couldn't tell. "When do we add in the weed?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "The oil goes in here after I'm done beating the cream cheese." He told her, watching the consistency change. He set it down and started measuring out his sour cream, vanilla, sugar, eggs, and then the oil, adding them all to the bowl and grabbing a spatula to fold all the ingredients in. "Is the crust in?"-
Covet: She was just filling in the last one, "Yep, just finished." She said, "Do we need to get the oven preheated or did you already do that?" She asked looking over at it.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh... shit. I always forget to do that and I end up standing and waiting around to put the tray in. Can you set it to three seventy five?" He asked her as he continued to fold his ingredients together, setting the bowl down and getting himself a small laddle to help the pouring process.-
Covet: "Yep sure thing." She said to him with a laugh and got the oven turned on to the right temperature. "At least it doesn't take too long to get to that temp, maybe ten minutes?"
Alexithymiaa: "Usually less." He said to her as he carefully poured the wet mixture into the paper liner cups in the tray. "I hope this turns out good. I'll eat it anyway, but still." He told her, finishing off that tray and setting his bowl down. "You saved half for the second batch, right?"-
Covet: "Ummm." Tae said looking at the empty bowl, "Second batch? I didn't realize you were making that much..." she said with a sheepish look on her face.
Alexithymiaa: "Well the recipe makes two dozen cupcakes..." He started, looking over at her empty bowl. "Tae... that was a LOT of crust filling. You used ALL of it?"-
Covet: "Yeah, It wasn't that thick though. I can make up some more, we have regular graham crackers that I can crush up." She said going to the cupboard to get them out to start that nonsence.
Alexithymiaa: "Well.... I guess...." He said as he watched her getting more out. "It really should have been enough though. It's fine, this is a learning experience." He said with a shrug, picking up the tray and sliding it into the now preheated oven. He leaned over to set the oven timer for twenty minutes.-
Covet: "I should have asked how much to put in the bottoms. Thank god cheese cake crust is delicious." She said to him, then went about getting the crackers crushed in the bag, using the rolling pin to make them into fine crumbs, before getitng the butter out to get it melted.
Alexithymiaa: -He crossed his arms over his chest and watched her make more crumbs, trying not to laugh. "Who would have thought the one preaching to me about baking would be the one fucking shit up."-
Covet: "I've never done cheesecake though." She said to him with a bit of a whine.
Alexithymiaa: "Most recipes like this make two batches." He told her casually, leaning down to peer into the oven through the little window because he was anxious for them to come out.-
Covet: "Oh, well if you were making one cheese cake, would it make two of them?" She asked. getting the crumbs, butter and sugar mixed again so they could get the second batch prepped.
Alexithymiaa: "No, because the serving size on a recipe for a cheesecake is one cake. The serving size on cupcakes is usually 24 cupcakes. And this is specifically a recipe for cheesecake cupcakes because they bake different and use different materials. So MEH." He said, sticking his tongue out at her.-
Covet: "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I couldn't possibly have known all of that smart ass." She said to him tossing some of the crust mixture towards his mouth to stick on his tongue and get on his face.
Alexithymiaa: -He wiggled his tongue to try to catch some of it, pullingit back into his mouth to eat. "At least we know the crust is good."-
Covet: "I would probably eat nearly anything anyone put on cheesecake crust." Tae said putting a little bit in her mouth before going back to filling up the cups.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh yeah? I'll have to keep that in mind." He said as the timer went off, grabbing an oven mitt and pulling the cheesecakes out of the oven to set down.-
Covet: "I refuse to eat anything that comes from your body on cheesecake." She said thinking he was meaning that as a slight inuendo.
Alexithymiaa: (Of course he was)
Alexithymiaa: -He instantly rolled his eyes, tipping his head back to let out a groan. "You literally JUST said you would ear nearly anything on a cheesecake crust. Why you gotta hate?"-
Covet: "Nearly anything. That would be in the NO category." Tae said rolling her eyes, "Men.. I swear."
Alexithymiaa: -He started pulling the papers out of the tin to set aside and cool, picking up the now empty tray with the oven mitt to run the back under cool water in the sink, cooling it down. "Grab more liners for the second batch, crusty chick."-
Covet: "Um.. Rude..." She said with a glare at him as she started putting the liners in, "You should get another cupcake pan, then you can have the second batch ready to go as you pull the done one out." Tae told him, starting to get them filled up.
Alexithymiaa: "I probably should. I dont know why I don't have one, honestly. I think I've been experimenting for so long that I dont usually make two batches of the same thing." He said as he set the pan down for her to fill, grabbing her crust mixture and pressing it into the liners as she placed them.-
Covet: "Well, if you're going to start doing those recipes consistently, then you should definitley get one." She told him, as she watched him finish it up. "Want me to put that batch in the freezeer?"
Alexithymiaa: "Just the fridge is fine. I've got this." He said as he finished filling the cups with cheesecake mixer, popping the tray into the oven. "I will. They're not even expensive, I just havent actually done it."-
Covet: "Okay." She told him leaving a couple out because where they weren't cool she didn't care she wanted to try one. "Do you want the chocolate or Strawberry?"
Alexithymiaa: "The chocolate. You were right about the strawberry. It ruins it." He agreed as he slid the tray into the oven to bake the second batch, setting the timer.-
Covet: "I told you." Tae said getting the chocolate out so they could enjoy the cheesecake while the other's cooked.
Alexithymiaa: -He drizzled some chocolate over the top of the two cakes she'd set side, picking up his and holding it up into the air. "To getting high on cheesecake so we can just kill the entire rest of the cheesecakes." He said in a mock sort of toast, digging into his with the intent to snack all night and pass out.-
