# Manual Installation Guide for Wan 2.2 ComfyUI

This guide walks you through setting up ComfyUI with all the custom nodes and models needed for the **Wan 2.2 “Video & Image Gen King”** workflow.

### **Step 1: Prerequisites**

Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed
* **7-Zip** – https://www.7-zip.org/
* **Git**  – https://git-scm.com/download/win

### **Step 2: Download and Extract ComfyUI**

1. Download the **portable NVIDIA build (v0.3.48)** of ComfyUI:
   https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/releases/download/v0.3.48/ComfyUI_windows_portable_nvidia.7z
2. Extract with 7-Zip. Your folder should look like:

ComfyUI_windows_portable/
├── ComfyUI/
│ ├── models/
│ └── custom_nodes/
├── python_embeded/
└── run_nvidia_gpu.bat

### **Step 3: Install Required Custom Nodes**

1. Go to `ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\custom_nodes`
2. Open **cmd** in that folder
3. Run:

4. For every folder that has a **`requirements.txt`**, install deps (example):

### **Step 4: Download Wan 2.2 Model Files**

All files are on: https://huggingface.co/Aitrepreneur/FLX/tree/main
Place them under `ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\models\`

**Text Encoders** → `models\text_encoders\`
`umt5-xxl-encoder-Q5_K_S.gguf`

**VAE** → `models\vae\`
`wan_2.1_vae.safetensors`

**UNets** → `models\unet\` *(pick correct VRAM variant)*

### **Step 5: Run ComfyUI**

Return to `ComfyUI_windows_portable` and double-click `run_nvidia_gpu.bat`.

## **RunPod Installation**

1. Create account at https://bit.ly/runpodAi
2. Pick a 24 GB VRAM GPU with the **aitrepreneur/comfyui** template
3. Access port **8888**
4. Mirror the same folder structure from this guide
5. Use `curl` to grab files, e.g.:
   `curl -L -o "filename" "URL"`
6. Watch logs:
   `tail -f workspace/logs/comfyui.log`
