Ugly as sin, as dumb as a slab of steel and twice as tough, strong enough to crush a mans skull, Brick is not a subtle individual. Brick spent his childhood beating the shit out of people for money even at  a very young age. This continued into his adult life as he bounced from illegal underground fight club to fight club, constantly killing his opponents and being barred. The apocalypse has barely changed anything for him, really, now the people he beats to paste just take a little more of a pounding and don't really scream as much. It took him far too long to realize that the people who were attacking him in the street were zombies and not drugged up tweakers. Years of alcoholism, hard drugs, and getting punched in the skull have reduced what little brain power he had and deadened his senses.
