Botw Trial of the Sword Route by Puppet, annotated by Orca

Beginning Trials

1. Bomb Bokos, get axe
2. Bomb chus, then bomb archers, then loot for arrows, shoot leftover archers, get barrels if <10 arrows
3. Bomb initial blue chu, arrow the rest
4. Approach tower, jump bomb drop near boko, run past, ignite bomb, throw bomb at boko on top of first stairwell, bomb his friend in the corner, break iron boxes for arrows, grab the bow the red boko archer dropped, and equip. Shoot blue bokoblin, grab his boko bat, shoot his blue friend, and grab his sword and shield. Then shoot the red left, and the red on the tower. Then break the big wooden box for 6(?) fire arrows.
5. Stasis+ the moblin, hit him with two headshots, then fire arrow the skull camp TNT, bomb the blue who falls out, and headshot the red moblin leftover with fire arrows. Kill the remaining blue bokoblin with regular arrows.
6. Use the entire bokoblin bat on the stone talus. (Bow Spin?)
7. Open the middle chest on the right for a long sword. Loot the wooden boxes on the right for 6(?) fire arrows.
8. Shoot the chu. This stuns the lizalfos. Use the new long sword on one lizalfos, then Stasis+ the other and use the new sword too. Equip the axe and use it to break the wooden box in the front-left corner. Cryonis block jump(new) to the lizalfos in the back, and grab his bow after you slash him(headshots?). Equip his bow. Use it and fire arrows to kill the lizalfos to the right, standing behind the exit teleporter.
9. Shoot the octorok to the close right and far straight back. Stasis+ the Wizzrobe and then headshot him 3(?) times. Grab his wand.
10. Immediately stasis the lizalfos in the back and headshot him. Use the wand to hit the lizalfos on the right. Grab his weapons, then switch to the [14] sword, and switch to the [15] sword after it breaks. Use arrows to finish them off if they fall down. Loot the wooden box in the back-right for some arrows.
11. Climb two cryonis blocks and then shoot the two archers on the banana tree platforms. Kill the blue archers as well, after climbing two more ice blocks. Bomb the bokoblins on the second floor of the tower. Slash the moblin twice to knock him off the platform and drown him. De-equip the axe during the ending fanfare.
12. Shoot the Hinox with a stray arrow upon spawn, then get close and headshot him. Grab the bow and sword he has, then slash him with his own sword. When he gets up, Stasis him, then headshot him again. Get rid of the sword from the hinox after you're done.

Middle Trials

1. Paraglide up-left,  then bomb the red bokoblins while flying. Grab the axe one drops, and use it to grab 10 arrows from the 2 barrels in the back-left corner. Go to the center back of the room, pass by iron boxes. Kill the red archer with headshot, grab his bow(sometimes won't fall down). Equip it. Kill the two remaining bokoblin with headshots. Loot the barrels in the back-left corner for 10 arrows. Grab the boko shield.

2. Paraglide forward, headshot the wizzrobe to the right, and left. Go to the back-left corner and headshot the bokoblin, then loot the boxes for arrows. Go directly below and headshot the red bokoblin and the blue one twice. Exit the way you came.

3. Paraglide forward, headshot the red bokoblin on the left, then shoot two baloons on the middle floating platform, then headshot everybody on the back. This requires two foods worth of extra stamina and max stamina. It will accrue 3/4th or so stamina usage of your extra stamina. Grab the lizalfos shield and the duo-boomerang. Break the wooden box for bomb arrows. Headshot the remaining enemies on the left side of the room.

4. Loot the boxes on the right. Parry.

5. Open the right chest for a rito bow. Break the boxes on the right for arrows. Might not need all of them.

6. Shoot the middle of the 3 fire keese hanging, with a bomb arrow. Shoot the fire keese to the right with one too, aiming to the middle of them(????). Shoot the electric chu near where the first keese were.

7. Use the rito bow to shoot the lantern in the skull camp. Use stasis for the lizalfos to the back left diaganol. Headshot 3 times. Use 1 bomb arrow and one regular arrow for the remaining lizalfos in the camp.

8. Shoot two bomb arrows where the meat is. Twice. Use regular arrows for the rest. Grab one bokoblin bat. Stasis the fire wizzrobe and headshot him a lot. Get his wand if you don't have bomb arrows for the hinox.

9. To the right are boxes with tons of arrows. Parry.

10. Shoot a bomb arrow between the hinox' legs to burn both wooden leg shakles. Use the bokoblin bat for his left leg.

11. Loot the boxes.

12. Shoot everyone.

13. Walk to the left and throw the bat on the guardian. Grab his sword. Another is in the back. Get his axe. Another has a spear, kill him but don't get the spear.

14. Shoot the weaklings and axe spin the two walkers and take their shields and swords.

15. Stasis one walker and axe spin him. Grab his sword and shield. Headshot the other and stasis him, then sword him. Throw it to finish. Grab his spear and axe. (I feel like the second boko bat you could grab would work here, it's almost double damage of the axe)

16. (Parry the guardian walker?) Switch shields or he'll break yours. Use the swords until he phase changes. Stasis him before his laser hits you, but once the laser is out. Spin. (boko bat here???) Use the axe and use it until it breaks. Then use the guardian sword. When that breaks, pull out your last guardian sword.

Final Trials

Eat stamina food before this to have two extra wheels.

1. Run to the right and grab the rusty spear. 3 stalfos approach, spear and kill and loot them. Kill the archer in the back. Loot the boxes. Get his bow. You don't want arms.

2. Spear the keese. Or bomb them. Bomb the camp, and spear them after. No looting.

3. Shoot the chu. Loot the barrels for arrows. Headshot everything that breathes, in one go. Don't loot them. Caution not to cut into extra stamina or if you do, only use v little.

4. Walk to the up-left diaganol. Bomb the approaching horsemen horde. Bomb and shoot everything. Get a boko club. Go to the upright diaganol and kill that horde. Stasis them if they approach. Loot boxes on your way to spawn.

5. Immediately stais and headshot. Use the club and spin. It will break. Stasis then shoot again. Use the weak club to kill. Grab all weapons left.

6. Open the bottom right chest. Get pants. Loot boxes. Open back right chest. Get fairy on back-right.

7. Throw club on chu. Bomb everyone.

8. Kill archers with freeze sword, grab 2 bows, and loot the boxes.

9. Headshot the wizzrobe then freze him. (use stasis to conserve arrows?) Grab his wand. Climb into left eye of camp, headshot moblin 5 times then slam the ice sword. Kill the others with it. Loot the one with a lizal sword and shield.

10. Paraglide and go to the right to kill that archer with freeze. Fly to under the tower and magnesis the chest in the lava. Then get the box under the lava, and use it to kill the moblins. Freeze them with the sword or stasis if they ened to be kept still. (grab fire arrows they drop?) Shieldjump to victory.

11. Hit the left of the rock with links shoulders for multi-hits. Getting on the talus is hard.

12. Open the middle chest. Loot the middle boxes.

13. Bomb the rock things. Shoot the chu. Climb the snow hill to the right and then headshot everybody. This might cut into backup stamina. Don't loot anything.

14. Shoot a normal arrow at the chu and a fire arrow at the freezealfos. Open the chest in the back for guardian arrows. Climb the tower and kill everyone with headshots and thunder swords. On the top, throw the rod at the moblin and then kill him with his own sword.

15. Run upleft, jump off, then fire arrow the wizzrobe, headshot the blue bokoblins, and electric headshot the white bokoblin. Fall down before stamina runs out, and use the club to finish him off. Grab the silver shield. Use the cobble crusher to kill the moblin on the left.

16. Shoot the talus with fire arrows, jump on him, face opposite him then hit the back of the tip with the stone smasher. Mining weapons have a double damage multiplier on talus.

17. Ancient arrow.

18. Open the bottom chest and equip the bow. Break the boxes. Fairies are nice but hard to get.

19. Parry. Crouch cancel parry endlag for extra mobility.

20. Stasis then ancient arrow headshot. OR cryonis block jump slow-mo ancient arrow headshot.

21. Stasis then ancient arrow headshot.

22. Stasis the sentry then hit the walker by shooting without stasis. Climb the tower to kill the big stationary guardian, or go for trickshot.

23. Stasis the lynel then ancient arrow. Then use the meteor rod to make an updraft. Headshot every bokoblin. This is what backup stamina is for. Climb the battlements in the back corner, sail off, then ancient arrow the guardian.
