- OPEN ON:
- Earth from outer space.
- Directly parallel to Earth from behind is the sun, and the moon is inching between the two for a lunar eclipse.
- Sparkling stars surround the planets.
- DEEP-VOICED ANNOUNCER (V.O.)
- 2018. God can no longer bear the burden any
- longer. Final judgment befalls his worst creation yet:
- Earth.
- As soon as the announcer is finished, the moon has finally fully blocked out the sun.
- Just as the lunar eclipse is complete, the Earth disappears with a flash.
- We then move to see a closer shot of the sun. We hear violent flames and a very distant ghostly laugh, as the Earth reappears very near the sun’s rays.
- The Earth shines red as the camera moves in closer on it.
- Various shots of tragedy flash on the screen as we hear indiscriminate screams of bloody murder and children crying.

- Heat distortion warps the atmosphere in the vehicle.
- CUT TO:
- The dashboard of a commercial airliner.
- We see various dials and lights power down with an electrical buzz fizzing out.
- The camera moves to the shoulder of the plane and we see the engine’s propellers slow before coming to a complete stop.
- We return to the cockpit and see two bull beastmen pilots panicking and fiddling with the controls.
- The copilot looks up from the controls for a moment, breathing heavily, and focuses out on the horizon.
- The giant sun taking up the entire sky, burning red hot, glints through the cockpit.
- The entire frame is then filled with the bull’s pupil dilating before he forces his eyelid shut hard and begins screaming I’m blind! I’m blind!
