All teams were judged on a set of criteria related to: the quality of the work (usually determined by upvotes), the quantity of works written, the inclusion of the GoI, the originality of their tales and objects (or their take on those things), the New Object Format that was created for the contest, sportsmanship, and their 'gut reaction' to the over work as a whole. All told, each judge could award up to twenty-four points total to a team.

Due to the plagiarism issue with the ORIA, all points awarded for originality were instead not awarded. MC&D is in a similar boat, as it was realized that they were missing a requirement for an 'original' object. All points for 'quantity' that were awarded were instead not awarded. Both these things were done in lieu of disqualification. I'm very sorry it shook out like this, guys. If you'd like to know your scores before those point changes, please let me know.
