Uri - Bitten Flames... Uri Vs Giant Rat

Curious... He would look down into the sewer...Seeing nothing but a pitch black.."I wonder whats down there... Wouldn't hurt to look right? Screw it, I need a little sight seeing in my routine.." And so the teen would enter the whole... Now what will he find? Well, that would be a mysterious question... Maybe not much, probably a rat or two, maybe even a gator of some sort.

It was dark... And in the distance... He saw something move once he climbed down the ladder.

(Uri Sanctum)

[17:48] Uri Sanctum says, "..."
[17:49] Uri slowly climbs back to the surface.

[17:53] Turns out, waiting by the staircase here was a rather good idea. He was mere moments away from simply waltzing off to go sleep, when someone foolishly decided to enter his domain.

Those beady eyes of the rat would study the blonde haired youth for a moment, slowly narrowing it's eyes as it contemplated something. If only it's minion had still been around, he could have sicked them on the stranger.

OH well, it was time to do Giant Rat things.

Now you might be asking yourself, what are Giant Rat things? Well the answer to that is rather simple!

It's attacking people.

Slowly, it's foul blood would begin to seep out from the beast, as it formed a shell of sorts around it.

Which of course means... Yup, he's about to pounce on Uri!

[17:57] Thinking he would go down the sewers to see this legend for himself. Uri would take a peak down as he would descend from the ladders and hope onto the stone floor.. "Huh?--Wait..." He saw the rat there before him! As if it was merely waiting for another to come down!

Uri got into a stance of battle, for he would not be able to climb onto the ladder fast enough. "Shit! Looks like I'm fighting in the drains! Who would'----Gah!" The fight had begun and the boy would challenge the giant goliath of a rat with his own flames, attempting to cast the inferno fire upon his body as an offense and defense!

"Back you fiend!" He yelled in desperation! Faira probably wouldn't have an issue with this, though he was not as strong as his sister truly was, not yet at least...

The fire that surrounded the youth seemed to enrage the rodent. Perhaps it was due to the woman from earlier who had used flames to claim his eye, or perhaps the rat just didn't like fire.

Though it was almost certainly the first of those two options.

Letting lose a primal roar, the rodent would bring it's massive claws down upon the youth's frame, slashing at his chest, arms, legs, honestly anything it could get it's grubby little claws on.

Though that's not to say this was a one sided affair. Far from it. For every attack the beast seemed to land, there was the Sanctum landing blows of his own against the rodent's thick fur.

It hurt.

A lot.

Though it would be one final screech from the rodent, that echoed throughout the sewers, that would provide the distraction the beast needed to secure his prey.

Once more it lunged, and this time it's teeth met Uri's leg, piercing through armor, and flesh, but not before the teen's flames managed to push the creature off.

It had gotten a taste, but not a meal.

Though out of the corner of it's beady little eyes, the rodent spotted something moving within the sewer water. Which, luckily for Uri managed to distract the best long enough for the teen to escape.

Should he choose to, that is.

[18:23] The fight seemed like it was close. Uri was able to blitz through for a little while if not longer and attack his enemy from afar... But he realized, this rat, it was no normal giant rat, it was one that for some reason, for some oddly god forsaken reason.... This giant rat possessed a deadly magic, it was able to manipulate blood and turn its body into a form of mist, something Uri did not expect at all!

This was a beast, and he wouldn't be able to read and predict its movements as he would a human. "This rats has to have a weakness! I can feel it!---Gah!" Knocked away he was, just before the bite came down upon him... His leg, pierced by the sharp teeth of this primal being. "Haahh!!!" He lets out a loud cry for the moment. Feeling every inch of pain, as if the sewer drenched teeth was a poison of its own...

His flames would burn out, only leaving minor damage on the beast for about three hours... But as for Uri, his flames wouldn't surround him. His inferno fist wouldn't even work, in fact, his efforts only reverted his ability back to the stance of the Iron Fist... The pain was so sharp it broke his focus as he was then tossed onto the ground, landing on his front, face in the dirt and all as blood began to drip out... "That damned ...Fiend... I'll burn it to ash---Huh?"

The young medic was bewildered... Looking up to see that the giant rat had been indeed distracted for a while... But he had to make sure, he had to verify this, and so, he made a little shuffle in the ground. But it seemed like the rat had its eyes focused on that object for a while... That's when Uri reached into his back pouch, standing up only to stumble over back towards the ladder... He silently would apply a lax essence onto the wounded area...For there was no time to sanitize it, he had to get to that ladder! Or else... Like those skulls, he'll be dead and stuck in a labyrinth of darkness and filth... "I--Gotta--Get Outta here While I still Can.." he thought to himself upon this flee.
