The four basic Training Features(Agility, Brutal, Inspired, and Focused) may be taken by characters at L1 instead of Ow, The Edge(PCs may apply this immediately, trading out Ow, The Edge, if they wish, at no cost). They retain their effects, but may be used as an At-Will Swift Action instead of a Standard Action, and may only target the user. Their Trained effects function as normal.

  9. Trigger: You are hit by a foe's attack
  10. Effect: You gain a Combat Stage in a stat of your choice which is at its default value or lower.

  15. Scene x2 – Free Action
  16. Trigger: You would gain an Injury or Injuries from a foe's attack or effect
  17. Effect: You instead do not gain any Injuries. For each Injury you would have gained, roll a d6, and gain a Combat Stage in the corresponding Stat. (1 = Attack, 2 = Defense, 3 = Special Attack, 4 = Special Defense, 5 = Speed, 6 = Accuracy)

  23. Effect: Choose Agility Training, Brutal Training, Focused Training, or Inspired Training. You gain the chosen Feature, even if you do not meet the prerequisites. When training, you may apply up to two different [Training] Features.

  35. Effect: You may increase one Skill you have at Novice Rank or higher by one Rank, or gain the Virtuoso Edge in one skill you have at Master Rank, even if you do not meet the prerequisites. For every two Ace Features you have and attain after taking this Feature, you may choose another Skill, to a maximum of 4 Skills when you have 6 Ace Features.

  39. Prerequisites: Elite, Expert Command
  40. At-Will – Extended Action
  41. Effect: Choose one Move you know. That Move becomes your Signature Technique, and you may apply one of the modifications below to the Move. The Move being modified must fit the category of the modification, and you must have the associated Training Feature to apply a modification. You may only have two Signature Techniques at a time. If you choose to learn a third Signature Technique, you must replace one of your current Signature Techniques.

  51. Effect: While at or under 1/3rd of its Max Hit Point value, the user gains a +1 bonus to Critical Range, Accuracy, and Evasion, a +5 Damage Bonus to all Damage Rolls, and 5 Damage Reduction. Defensive.

  54. SIGNATURE TECHNIQUES:

  56. Cone, Line, Burst, and Blast Moves
  57. Scattershot – Agility Training: Instead of the Move's normal range, it has a range of 4m, 3 Targets.

  59. Shock and Awe – Inspired Training: Foes targeted by the Move take a -2 penalty to Save Checks and a -1 Penalty to Evasion until the end of the user’s next turn. This effect applies whether the attack hits or misses.

  61. Vicious Storm – Brutal Training: The Move gains the Smite keyword. Applicable to Damaging Moves only.

  64. Single Target Moves
  65. Guarding Strike – Inspired Training: If this Move hits, the user gains +5 Damage Reduction against the target of the attack until the end of their next turn.

  67. Unbalancing Blow – Brutal Training: Whether the Move hits or misses, the target becomes Vulnerable until the next time they are hit by a Damaging Attack or one full round has passed, whichever comes first.

  69. Reliable Attack – Focused Training: If the Move misses its target, its Frequency is not spent and the user may immediately make a Struggle Attack as a Free Action. Cannot be applied to Moves with the Smite keyword.

  72. Damaging Moves
  73. Alternative Energy – Focused Training: Switch the Class of the Move from Physical to Special or vice versa.

  75. Bloodied Speed – Agility Training: This Move may be used as Priority (Advanced) if the user has less than half of their maximum Hit Points.

  77. Double Down – Brutal Training: The Move gains the Double Strike keyword. Effects and Effect Ranges may be triggered only once (but either roll may trigger the effect). This may only be applied to Moves with a Damage Base of 4 or less, and may not be applied to Moves whose Damage Base change upon certain conditions (such as Fury Cutter or Ice Ball) or moves with Special-Case Damage (such as Night Shade).

  80. Status Moves
  81. Burst of Motivation – Inspired Training: After this Move is Resolved, the user may increase any Stats with negative Combat Stages by up to +2 Combat Stages (but this cannot put Combat Stages above +0 CS total).

  83. Supreme Concentration – Focused Training: On the user's next turn, they ignore all effects of any Status Conditions they may have.

  85. Double Curse – Agility Training: The user may target an additional foe with this Attack. This may be applied only to 1-Target Moves.
