1. Veles had asked the Veil why Garhorn had deserved to be Overlord, and for this it showed him Vallium's, his surrogate brother, rage and immorality. It had shown him Vallium speaking to him about the Overlord, the discussion which years later had him create Uhlek, along with the creation of Uhlek. It had showed him Vallium's death at the hands of Nefas. Now, he saw Garhorn's rage. The first time Garhorn had been revealed to Erviadus.

3. Suyalia, June 7th 1228. The Slaughter of Redchapel
4. The Siege of Suyalia took one day. Valukaar's horrible claws had clutched the unprepared and unprotected nation of Suyalia under Overlord Blackvyre's iron will. Overlord Blackvyre was preparing the nuclear genocide of Redhawk after his forced retracted, General Vallium was sieging Redhawk itself, and Garhorn, he was, by all Suyalian accounts, marching through the slaughter and towards the four self-proclaimed gods currently held within Redchapel.
5.
6. Ethroke, the proclaimed god of fire, stood with his ear against the great mohagany door of Redchapel, listening to the shellings and the gunfire, the carnage unending, just outside of his door. They were gods, but yet he, nor Engel, goddess of peace, nor Maga, god of water, and neither Telldas, god of warfare, would leave the one place they knew Overlord Blackvyre was saving for the finale. They would wait, on the first floor of this three-floored church, fountain of worship between the elevating stairways, for a mage to be sent by President McKnight, or Yem, god of magic, to return. They would be teleported to safety. They had to be.
7.
8. "What do you hear, Ehtroke?" Engel spoke, her voice kept low in cowardice and freight.
9.
10. "The mortals strike hard against the ground..." Ehtroke responded.
11.
12. "Do you hear any sign of protection? A break in the fighting?"
13.
14. Maga had stepped closer to Engel, taking her under his arm. He spoke before Ehtroke could respond, imposing and direct as he was.
15.
16. "This place shall be last to fall, Vallium's ego be our blessing. A show of it, he will make. By then, you shall be far, far awa-"
17.
18. "Silence!" Telldas roared. "Ethroke is attempting to speak, or is news not important to the two of you?"
19.
20. "I hear no break in the fighting," Ehtroke continued. "I hear gunfine and the treads of heavy vehicles in the distance. I hear.. mortar strikes? They are organized, one second past the other each..."
21.
22. Engel began, "Could it be our defe-" but she did not get to finish, Within an instant, a horrid shnk pierced all of their ears, and especially Ehtroke's- through the mahogany of the door, and through Ehtroke's head, a sword of glittering silver had been sent, and Ethroke's body had become limp, held up only by its blade. Her questioning became a scream, and Maga pushed her behind him, drawing out the submachine gun at his hip. Telldas drew his own blade, stepping to the side of Maga.
23.
24. "Get upstairs!" Telldas demanded of her. She opened her mouth to question yet again, but he imposed himself once more over her. "Now!"
25.
26. Telldas' voice was the thing of legend, said to have a thralling effect over those that heard it. In reality, few would ignore his tone and demands, Engel included. She turned and began to sprint up the right stairwell, turning only when she heard the sword in Ehtroke's head retract, shnnnk, and his body fall limp to the ground; and so ceased Ehtroke, god of fire.
