AAC2 R2 Elick vs Corv - Qaws Judgement

Elick vs Corv

Due to poor time managment skills on my end I will not be able to go as in-depth as my previous responses. For that, I do apologize to both Elick and Corv since they both gave incredibly good and detailed arguments.

For the match itself, I see the following:

* The magic users fight

* The winner of that fight would defeat the remaining enemy or assist their teammate in defeating them

For the sake of the debate, I disagree with Corv's assessment. The mindset is specified, but at no point were the additional forms ever limited in my view.

With that said, however, Corv's rebuttal against Elick regarding magic was just ultimately really good and I think they countered every point raised pretty well.

While the Limbo scrying counter stuff seems a bit meta-gamey in my mind, everything else is just in Magik's favor in my view. Kumoko's appraisal skill being ineffective was argued well (though I disagree with it not working at all), the rune counter-argument is good and Magik's entire loadout seems consistently better at dealing with other mages than Kumoko's.

Overall I don't see a reliable way for Elick's team to avoid Magik teleporting herself and Sabertooth to them. The speed argument was also never addressed after Corv's initial counter which is pretty bad if they come into close quarters. For the match up I don't see how Meta stands a chance against Sabertooth's skill, endurance and Adamantium advantages.

Kumoko vs Magik in terms of raw spells fall in Magik's favor, with strength going to Kumoko but speed being a wash.

In the end half of Elick's team is seemingly dead weight and his other half in the best-case situation draws even with Magik. I don't see Kumoko's spells getting past the Soulsword or Magik's natural magic affinity. Once Sabertooth beats Meta, which is a when rather than if thing, then Kumoko just has no real win conditions to me.

So Corv wins this round in my mind.
