If you look at these chords they are mirror images so we can read them from left to right. The index finger is across the 5th fret holding down all the strings. The middle finger is used on the 6th fret. The little and the one next to it are used in the 7th fret. This is a moveable chord and the key it is taken from is on the "E" string. In this example it was "A" the 5th fret. So if you move the chords up or down the neck of the guitar you have a full range of chords at your dissposal.

 These are all done on the 3rd Fret and the chord position is taken from the”A” string.
The 3rd fret on the “A” string is the note “C”. These chords are all moveable.
 So then the note on the “A” string gives you the key you are playing the chord in.
