A: I'm 23 and I live in France, land of the baguettes.

A: I'm playing on VC (Wii Virtual Console) with a Gamecube Controller

Q: Can you explain the terms of OoT:
A:
-OI= Ocarina Item. This glitch is very easy to do, you just need to have a bottle content in your hand (bugs, fish...) and then while backflipping, press the ocarina then the sword to play ocarina!
-SS= Superslide. Most of the time we use 2 bombs, one that explodes while we are rolling on the other one. By doing this we get a lot of speed (actually the same as Epona)
-ISG= Infinite Sword Glitch. This glitch allows us to give an infinite amount of hits with our sword at any times, that's how you destroy bosses! This glitch also has some interesting other properties...
-ESS= Extended Superslide. We often talk about "ess position" which corresponds to the tiniest input on the joystick (Link is shuffling) and allows us to turn after a superlide to keep some speed
-JS clip= Jumpslash Clip.
-DC= Dondongo's Cavern
-HB= Hover Boots
-DF, FW, NL= Din's Fire, Farore's Wind, Nayru's Love

-WW= Wrong Warp. In short, we can teleport from a place to another with this glitch. the most common way is to do an OI at the edge of a blue warp then die or exit the room on a precise frame to warp. we sometimes talk about FWWW (Farore's Wind Wrong Warp) or even Void Warp.
-RBA= Reverse Bottle Adventure ♥ This glitch is probably the most mindfucking glitch you will ever see, by doing some crazy stuff we can get a bottle on B and based on what you have equipped on c-right, a few things can happen in your inventory such as getting songs, stones, or even medallions. The game also assumes you only have to get shadow and spirit medallions to get the light arrows.
-GIM= Get-Item Manipulation. This glitch is also based on memory corruption. A value called "Get-Item" has been created by the developpers to determine what's going to be the item you WILL get. You have to be in front of the item or a chest to update this value. Actually, the only uses of this value is for chests, that's how the game knows what you have to get (Remember that the game has to assign the NEGATIV value of the chest content, don't ask, this is how it works). Other than that, there are a couple ways to "store" an item and so delaying getting it. The game will then remember that he has to give you an item (i.e. the nuts, value 1) and will update the Get-Item to 1... However, thanks to the storage, we will be able to hump a chest and update the Get-Item value with the negativ value of the chest content, and the game will rememebr it! To break the glitch, we simply have to jump into water and we will get this specific item (a good way to get Light Arrows in the Deku Tree)


Q: What is a Bingo ?
A: A bingo is a board of 5x5 goals where you have to choose a row/column/diagonal and fill the different goals before the other people. We can't really call that a speedrun since we don't finish the game, we just do that for fun :D

Q: Beta Quest ? BQ ? BBQ ? What is this ?
A: Beta Quest (BQ) is a hack released in 2015 by Mzxrules where every loading zones are random and change with the filename. BBQ is basically a Beta Quest Bingo.

Q: Why are you keep pressing pause ?
A: It's a mechanic of the game called pause buffering which allow us to do frame perfect tricks.

Q: Holy crap, you just clipped through the door of time !
A: Well yes, this is called the dot skip. You can indeed clip through this door with a very precise angle, so you don't even need to finish child dungeons or to get the song of time to be adult ! You can find a lot of tutorials on the Internet.
