キョウ
「なるほどな。
俺も失っている記憶があるってことか」
Kyo: I see. So I’m missing memories too.

アーク
「ええ…」
Arque: Yes...

キョウ
「エンタングルの度に少しずつデータが欠落していく。
肉体は修復できても、記憶は戻らない」
Kyo: With each Entanglement, the data disappears little by little. The body can be repaired, but the memories can’t ever come back.

クリス
「理解が早いな。頭の良さはそのままらしい」
Chris: You catch on quick. Looks like you’ve got a good head on your shoulders.

キョウ
「それよりもさっきのことだ。
俺も一度はああなったって言ったよな?
データだけの存在に…」
Kyo: It’s mostly because of what you said before. You said that I went through it before, right? We exist only as data...

キョウ
「そして、俺には忘れていることがある。
つまり…」
Kyo: And there are things I’m forgetting. But even so...

クリス
「つまり?」
Chris: Even so?

キョウ
「………」
Kyo: ...

キョウ
「…だけど、俺は生きてる」
Kyo: ...I’m still alive.

クリス
「おお、前向きだな。以前の君に比べたら」
Chris: Oh, that’s a positive outlook. Especially compared to your past self.

キョウ
「そうかよ」
Kyo: Is that right?

クリス
「その方がいい。
しかし、全てを受け入れるには
痛みが伴うものだぞ?」
Chris: You’re better this way. But, it must have been hard to accept it all right away, huh?

アーク
「クリス、受け入れることが始まりよ?
そこから始まる愛もあるの」
Arque: But Chris, everything begins with acceptance, doesn’t it? Even love.

クリス
「そうだな、アーク…」
Chris: That’s right, Arque...

キョウ
「はあ、ここはセーヌかよ…。
俺はもう行くぞ」
Kyo: What, are we on the Seine river in France now...? I’m just gonna go somewhere else.


(The following scene is changed greatly if you played World 4 last. If you did not play World 4, Dido and Maiko do not appear, nor does the flashback scene happen.)

「なるほど…ゼーガペイン・フリスベルグ…
アルティールよりも重武装、かつ[QL]も…」
Inaho: Interesting... Zegapain Hraesvelg... It’s more heavily armed than the Altair and wins out when it comes to [QL] as well...

メグ
「拠点攻撃向きのホロニックローダーよね」
Meg: So its Holonic Loader is designed for base attacks, huh.

ディド
「パイロットの腕も相当なものだ。
彼らが来なければ、キョウ達は危なかった」
Dido: The pilots are skilled. If they hadn’t come, Kyo and Shizuno would have been in grave danger.

伊奈帆
「ディド達がこっちに来るのは珍しいね」
Inaho: It’s rare to see you here, Dido.

マイコ
「ディドがぁ、ちょっと気になることが
あるって言ってましてぇ…」
Maiko: Dido said there was something bothering him, so here we are.

メグ
「あたし達が[鉄華団]のみんなと一緒に、
時空跳躍に巻き込まれて月に行った時、
アルティールに似た機体を見たの」
Meg: When we were with [Tekkadan], we saw a machine that looked just like Altair after a space-time leap sent us to the moon.

伊奈帆
「報告は読んだよ」
Inaho: I read the report about that.

ディド
「あの時、見た機体…今思えば、アルティール
そのものだったのかも知れない」
Dido: That machine we saw... Thinking back, it could have been Altair itself.

メグ
「似てるとは思ったけれど…」
Meg: The resemblance is more than uncanny...

伊奈帆
「報告では自爆したように見えたって話だったけど、
アルティールだって確証はないよね?」
Inaho: The report said that it self-destructed, so I take it there isn’t any conclusive evidence that it was the same Altair.

メグ
「バニッシュメントモード…
ガルダの自爆を見て、確信に変わったのよ。
少なくとも、あれは[ゼーガペイン]だったって」
Meg: Yeah, but after seeing Garuda self-destruct with Banishment Mode, I’ve changed my mind. If nothing else, it was definitely a [Zegapain].

ディド
「あのパイロットが、もし生命を失ったのであれば…
直接、アルティールに祈りを捧げたいと思った」
Dido:  The pilot could have lost his life back then... So I wanted to pay my respects to Altair.

伊奈帆
「祈り? 死者への追悼ってこと?」
Inaho: Pay your respects? You mean a prayer to mourn the dead?

マイコ
「ディドは鉄華団のお葬式に参加した経験からぁ、
何か感じたんだと思いますぅ」
Maiko: Tekkadan had a funeral while Dido was with them, so I think that has to do with why he wants to do this.

伊奈帆
「そうか…ディドは鉄華団の団員だったっけ」
Inaho: That’s right... Dido was a member of Tekkadan, correct?

ディド
「ああ。俺はメグ達の世界から時空跳躍し、
彼らに拾ってもらった。だから、色々と恩がある」
Dido: Yes. They were the ones that found me when I leapt through space-time from Meg’s world to theirs. I owe them much.

ディド
「鉄華団から抜けると決めたあの時も…」
Dido: When I decided to leave Tekkadan...

(The next scene is done in a flashback, with the screen turning black and white.)

Isaribi – Hanger


オルガ
「そうか…」
Orga: I see...

ディド
「俺は、自分が何者なのか知りたい。
そのためにメグ達と行く」
Dido: I want to find out who I am. That’s why I’m going with Meg and the others.

オルガ
「誰かにそうしろと言われたんじゃなく、
自分で決めたのか」
Orga: And that’s something you decided, not what someone else told you?

ディド
「ああ、俺の意志だ。
メグを元の世界へ戻してやる必要もある」
Dido: Yes, it’s my choice. And I also need to bring Meg back to her original world.

メグ
「ディド･…」
Meg: Dido...

マイコ
「あのう、メグさんだけなんでしょうかぁ…」
Maiko: Um, I hope you don’t mean just Meg...

ディド
「もちろん、お前達もだ」
Dido: Of course, I meant all of you as well.

メグ
「本当にそれでいいのね?」
Meg: Are you really sure about this, Dido?

ディド
「ああ」
Dido: Yes.

三日月
「…ディドが決めたんなら、
それでいいんじゃない?」
Mikazuki: ...If it’s Dido’s decision, then it’s fine.

ビスケット
「俺もそう思うよ」
Biscuit: That’s what I think too.

ディド
「これから鉄華団のために働けなくて
すまないと思っているが…」
Dido: I apologize for not being able to work with Tekkadan any longer...

オルガ
「気にすんな。
お前が記憶を取り戻し、元の世界へ戻れるまで
面倒を見るっていう約束だったしな」
Orga: Don’t worry about it. I promised we’d take care of you until you got your memories back and had a way to get back to your own world.

メグ
「まだディドの記憶は戻ってないし、
あたし達の世界へ帰れるって
決まったわけじゃないけど…」
Meg: But, Dido doesn’t have his memories back, and we really don’t know how to get back to our world yet...

オルガ
「だが、お前らの道は少し先が見えてきた。
だから、行けよ」
Orga: That’s just ‘cuz you guys still got a little further to go. So go on and get goin’.

ディド
「団長…」
Dido: Leader...

オルガ
「ディド、お前がどこにいたって
俺はお前を鉄華団の一員…家族だと思ってる」
Orga: Doesn’t matter where you are, Dido. As far as I’m concerned, you’re still a member of Tekkadan. ...Part of the family.

オルガ
「またこの世界へ戻って来るようなことがあったら、
いつでも俺達を頼れ」
Orga: You ever end up in our world again, you can always count on us.

ディド
「ありがとう、団長」
Dido: Thanks, Leader.

伊奈帆
「…家族、か」
Inaho: ...Family, huh.

マイコ
「男と男の絆…何か憧れますぅ」
Maiko: There’s something really admiral about the bond between men...

(Kyo approaches.)

キョウ
「よう、
またホロニックローダーを見に来たのか?」
Kyo: Yo. You here to see the Holonic Loader again?

伊奈帆
「まあ、そんなところ。
今回は色々あったしね」
Inaho: Something like that. There’s a lot going into this next operation.

キョウ
「ゼーガペイン
俺達幻体の生命維持装置、か…」
Kyo: Zegapain... It’s basically the life-support system for us [Meta-Bodies].

伊奈帆
「………」
Inaho: ...

キョウ
「聞いたのか?
幻体だって、死んじまうってこと」
Kyo:  You heard about it, right? How we have Meta-Bodies because we’ve already died.

伊奈帆
「うん」
Inaho: Yes.

キョウ
「ちょっとショックだよなあ。
自分が幻体だってことは
受け入れたつもりだったが…」
Kyo: It’s still kind of a shock. I thought I had accepted that I was a Meta-Body, but...

キョウ
「データ転送の度に記憶が失われたり、
データの破損が酷ければ死んじまうなんてよ」
Kyo: Every time my data transfers, I lose a bit of my memories. And if my data gets too badly damaged, I’ll die.

伊奈帆
「でも、それは普通の人にだってあり得る事態だよ。
頭部にショックを受ければ記憶喪失に
なることもあるし、酷い怪我をすれば死ぬ」
Inaho: But those things can still happen to an ordinary human. A psychological shock can cause memory loss, and a severe enough injury can cause death.

伊奈帆
「要するに、普通の人間と
変わりないってことじゃないかな」
Inaho: To put it simply, you’re really not much different from a human when you get down to it.

キョウ
「…確かにな。
言われてみりゃ、その通りだ」
Kyo: ...That’s true. Now that I think about it, you’re totally right.

メグ
「こうして話していても、違和感ないしね」
Meg: You don’t feel out of place when we’re just talking like this either.

キョウ
「まあ、どっかで割り切ろうとして、
俺は無敵だとか思ってたのかも知れねえ。
そういう自分がいたことがあり得ねえ」
Kyo: I guess somewhere along the line I was looking for a cut and dry answer, and ended up thinking I was immortal or something. Now I can’t believe I ever had that in my head.

伊奈帆
「心を守る防衛行動としては一般的だよ。
それもまた…」
Inaho: It’s a typical defense mechanism to subconsciously protect your mind. It’s also...

キョウ
「普通の人間、か」
Kyo: Normal for a human, huh?

伊奈帆
「うん」
Inaho: Yes.

キョウ
「サンキュ。何か胸のつかえが取れたぜ」
Kyo: Thanks. That really did take a load off my chest.

伊奈帆
「それなら良かった」
Inaho: I’m glad to hear that.

キョウ
「シズノ先輩は無事復帰できたっていうし、
後はアルティールの修理さえ終われば、
俺も今まで通り戦えるかな」
Kyo: I heard Shizuno recovered just fine, so as long as the Altair gets repaired, I can fight along with you guys same as always.

伊奈帆
「結論を急ぎすぎるのも好ましくないよ。
一度、舞浜に戻った方がいい」
Inaho: You don’t want to decide that too early. I think returning to Maihama at least once would be good for you.

キョウ
「そうだな…。
せっかくだし、そうさせてもらうとするか」
Kyo: You got a point... We are already here and all, so I think I’ll do just that.

キョウ
「で、メグ達は何でここにいるんだ?」
Kyo: Oh yeah, what are you guys doing here, Meg?

メグ
「何だかんだで聞けなかったけど、あたし達、前に
月でアルティールによく似た機体を見たことが
あって…ディドが気にしてたの」
Meg: We never really got around to asking, but there was a machine we saw that looked just like Altair on the moon and Dido was curious about it.

キョウ
「わざわざ来てもらって悪いが、
俺は月になんか行ったことねえぞ」
Kyo: Hate to say this when you came all the way here, but I’ve never been to the moon.

ディド
「…そうか」
Dido: ...I see.

キョウ
「もっとも、
忘れちまってるだけかも知れねえけどな…」
Kyo: Although, I can’t say for sure that I haven’t just forgotten I went to the moon...


ラー・カイラム 格納庫
Ra Cailum – Hanger


フォウ
「ただ戦うだけで、記憶が…?」
Four: They lose their memories just by fighting...?

アムロ
「そうだ」
Amuro: That’s right.

バナージ
「そんなリスクを抱えて、
オケアノスの人達は戦っていたんですか…」
Banagher: I didn’t realize the people on the Oceanus put themselves at risk just by going to battle...

アムロ
「俺もさっき聞いて驚いたよ。
どうにか損失を抑えられればいいが、
それが叶わなければ不可能らしい」
Amuro: I was surprised to hear it too. They want to find a way to prevent the memory loss, but it doesn’t seem likely that it’s possible.

バナージ
「そんな…」
Banagher: Damn...

アムロ
「シマ司令の話じゃ、転送によるダメージは
きちんと管理しているから問題ないそうだが…」
Amuro: Commander Shima says they can manage the damage from a transfer, so we shouldn’t have to worry about that at least...

フォウ
「過去の記憶がなくても、新しい思い出は
増えるし、覚えていられる。でも、記憶そのものが
進行形で失われていくのは、辛いわ」
Four: You can still make new memories, even if you can’t remember your past. But when your memories are progressively disappearing... That’s terrible...

アキト
「…だが、失った方が都合のいい記憶もある」
Akito: ...Some memories are better off forgotten.

フォウ
「!」
Four: !

アムロ
「俺達の話を聞いていたのか、アキト?」
Amuro: Is there something you want to say, Akito?

アキト
「ああ。
記憶の有無、内容の良し悪しは
それを持つ本人が判断することだ」
Akito: There is. The presence or absence of a memory, and whether or not the contents of it are good or bad, is for the person who holds it to decide.

アムロ
「………」
Amuro: ...

フォウ
「確かに、言われた通りね」
Four: Yes, I believe you’re right.

アムロ
(アキトには忘れ去りたいほどの
辛い記憶があるということか…)
Amuro: (Akito must have something very painful inside that he’d like to forget...)

Maihama Minami High School – Pool


カミナギ
「キョウちゃん、変!」
Kaminagi: You’re weird, Kyo!

キョウ
「ああ? 何だよ、いきなり」
Kyo: I am? Where’s that coming from?

カミナギ
「留学から帰ってきたと思ったら、
プールに一直線だし!
お土産くらいちょうだいよ!」
Kaminagi: The first thing you do after studying abroad is B-line straight for the pool! You didn’t even bring back any souvenirs!

キョウ
「いいだろ、別に。泳ぎたかったんだよ」
Kyo: Relax, there’s nothing weird about it. I just wanted to go swimming.

カミナギ
「それだけじゃないよ。
定期テストで変なこと言ったんだって?
中学の問題が解けないーって」
Kaminagi: Not just that. You said something strange on the test earlier too. Something like it being impossible for you to solve a question from middle school.

キョウ
「あ…あれは抗議だ!
解けないわけねえだろ!?」
Kyo: Th...That was just my way of protesting! Come on, how could I not solve something like that!?

カミナギ
「抗議?」
Kaminagi: Protesting?

キョウ
「わざわざサービス問題なんか用意するなら、
定期テストそのものを免除してくれって話だ。
単位なら留学先で取ってる」
Kyo: I mean if they’re just going to give us freebie questions like that, then I shouldn’t even have to take the test. I’ve already got credits from studying abroad anyways.

キョウ
(…その問題以外はパーフェクトだったはずだ。
周りの奴らも解けてるみてえだったし…。
基礎からの応用も利かなかった)
Kyo: (...If it wasn’t for that question, I’d have had a perfect score. All the people around me didn’t have any problem with it... But I couldn’t even figure out where to start with it.)

キョウ
(これが忘れちまうって事なのか)
Kyo: (So this is what it means to really forget something.)

カミナギ
「何よ、それ。
だったら、私だってキョウちゃんに
抗議したいことがあるんだけど」
Kaminagi: What are you on about? Well if that’s the case, then I have something to protest to you about.

カミナギ
「キョウちゃんがいないからって、
カワグチ君達がすっごく私に絡んできたんだから!」
Kaminagi: Kawaguchi wouldn’t stop bothering me all because you were gone!

キョウ
「はぁ…」
Kyo: *sigh*...

ウシオ
「おーおー、プールを眺めて、
溜息なんかついちゃって」
Ushio: Hey, come on, what are you doing staring out at the pool and sighing for?

ハヤセ
「留学から戻って来てたんだな。
声くらい掛けてくれても良かったんじゃないか?」
Hayase: You just came back from studying abroad. You could have at least called us or something.

キョウ
「ウシオ! ハヤセ!」
Kyo: Ushio! Hayase!

ウシオ
「お前がいない間、
カワグチの奴が大変だったんだぞ?」
Ushio: Kawaguchi was pretty worried when he found out you were gone, you know?

ウシオ
「水泳部を復活させるとか息巻いてやがったくせに、
結局は海外にトンズラかよ、ってな」
Ushio: “That guy was going on and on about bringing back the swim club, what’s he doing running off overseas!?” Stuff like that.

キョウ
「知ってる。
カミナギにまで絡んだんだってな」
Kyo: Yeah. I heard he was giving Kaminagi a hard time too.

ハヤセ
「それで? いつ戻ってくるんだよ、お前は」
Hayase: So? When are you coming back?

キョウ
「何言ってんだ、もうここにいるだろうが」
Kyo: What are you talking about? I’m already here.

ハヤセ
「どうせ、一時帰国だろ。
またどっか行くんじゃないのか?」
Hayase: I figured you were just coming back to visit. You aren’t going to be leaving again?

キョウ
「あ、ああ…そうだけど。
何で知ってるんだ?」
Kyo: W-Well... Yeah, I am. How’d you know?

ハヤセ
「わかるさ。
素直じゃないお前のことだ。
また、一人で抱え込んでる顔しやがって」
Hayase: I just do. You’ve always been an honest guy. And you had the face like you were dealing with something on your own.

ハヤセ
「中学の時に起こした問題のこと、
一人で苦しんでたこともな」
Hayase: You had to deal with what happened back in middle school on your own too.

キョウ
「…不正があったにせよ、
予選の最中に審判を殴った俺が悪い。
そのせいで、お前らの記録まで…」
Kyo: ...That was all on me. I was the one who hit the ref in the prelims. If it wasn’t for that, your scores wouldn’t have—

ウシオ
「水くせえよな。
だったら、そう言えばいいだろ」
Ushio: You just want to swim again, right? Why don’t you just say that?

ハヤセ
「留学に行ったのだって、
言わないだけで何か目的があるんだろ」
Hayase: I know you went to study abroad for some reason and you don’t want to tell anyone why.

ハヤセ
「水泳部の復活から逃げたわけじゃない。
そうだろ?」
Hayase: But you haven’t given up on bringing back the swim club. Right?

キョウ
「ハヤセ…」
Kyo: Hayase.

ウシオ
「俺もわかってるぜ?
多分ホントは、カワグチもな」
Ushio: I know that too, by the way. Kawaguchi probably does too.

ウシオ
「なあ、そうだろ!
コソコソしてないで出て来いよ!」
Ushio: Isn’t that right!? Come on, stop sneaking around, man!

カワグチ
「…!」
Kawaguchi: ...!

キョウ
「カワグチ!? いたのか!」
Kyo: Kawaguchi!? What are you doing here!?

カワグチ
「う、うっせぇ!
俺はまだこいつを許してなんかいねえんだよ!」
Kawaguchi: Sh-Shut up! I still haven’t forgiven this guy for what he did!

(Kawaguchi runs off.)

キョウ
「………」
Kyo: ...

ウシオ
「ありゃ、もうちょい時間が掛かりそうかぁ」
Ushio: Sheesh, guess it’s still going to take him a little while.

キョウ
「いい。また改めて話す」
Kyo: It’s fine. I’ll have a talk with him later.

ハヤセ
「ああ、そうしてくれ。
それじゃ、そろそろ泳ぐとするか」
Hayase: Yeah, be sure and do that. Now, I think it’s about time for a swim.

キョウ
「おう!
リレーでもやるか?」
Kyo: Heck yeah! You guys wanna do a relay race?

ウシオ
「いいねえ。
一人足りねえが…ま、練習だしいいか」
Ushio: Why not. We’re short one man... But, practice is practice.

ハヤセ
「問題はないだろ。
中学の時にもウシオが来なくて、
先に練習を始めた時はあった」
Hayase: Fine by me. There was a time when Ushio didn’t show up in middle school and we all had to practice without him.

ウシオ
「ありゃ寝坊しただけだ!
大会の日だったわけでもねえんだし、
忘れてくれよ」
Ushio: I overslept, sue me! It’s not like it was the day of the tournament, so just forget about it already.

キョウ
「…そんなこと、あったっけか?」
Kyo: ...Did that ever happen?

ウシオ
「お、いいねぇ!
キョウは忘れてくれてるぜ!」
Ushio: Hey, see! Even Kyo forgot about it by now!

ハヤセ
「はあ…これだから、いい加減な奴らは」
Hayase: Come on... You guys need to take this more seriously.

キョウ
(忘れちまう…こんなにも、か…)
Kyo: (I’ve...forgotten a lot, huh...)

ウシオ
「おーい、キョウ?」
Ushio: What’s the hold up, Kyo?

ハヤセ
「何だ、心ここにあらずかよ」
Hayase: You sure your heart’s in this?

キョウ
「そ、そんなこたあねえ!
俺の心はここにあらあ!
この舞浜にな!」
Kyo:  O-Of course it is! My heart’s right here! Here in Maihama!

Wet Damage


(Scene begins on a map screen of a group of islands. Show and Kamille are on the map.)

カミーユ
「この組み合わせで出るのは、珍しいな」
Kamille: This is a pretty unusual pairing.

ショウ
「そうだな…初めてか」
Show: Yeah... first time, isn’t it?

カミーユ
「多分ね」
Kamille: It might be.

ショウ
「何だよ、曖昧だな」
Show: That’s kind of a vague response.

チャム
「それはショウだって同じじゃない」
Cham: Well you’re being just as vague.

ショウ
「まあな」
Show: I guess.

カミーユ
「それにしても、綺麗な海だ。
人がいないからこそ、か」
Kamille: Anyways, the sea really is beautiful here. I guess it’s because there aren’t any people around.

ショウ
「人間がいるからって、
全ての海が汚染されるわけじゃないだろう」
Show: It’s not as if all oceans are polluted because of humans.

カミーユ
「だけど、俺の世界の海は赤いからな…」
Kamille: Well, all the oceans in my world are blood red...

ショウ
「…そうだったな」
Show: ...Yeah, I guess they are.

カミーユ
「それでも、人はいる。
この無人の世界で戦い続けるのは、
どんな気持ちなんだろうな」
Kamille: Still, there are people here. I can’t imagine how it feels for them to keep fighting in this no man’s land of a world.

ショウ
「………」
Show: ...

(Chris appears.)

クリス
「どうも、お二人さん。
お邪魔だったかな」
Chris: Hey there, you two. Sorry if I’m intruding.

アーク
「私たちも哨戒任務に加わらせてもらうわ」
Arque: We’d like to join the patrol as well.

カミーユ
「クリスさんとアークさん、でしたか」
Kamille: You’re Mr. Chris and Mrs. Arque, right?

クリス
「呼び捨てでいい。
これからしばらく一緒に戦うんだ、
気を遣う必要はないさ」
Chris: You can drop the formalities. We’ll be fighting together for a while, so don’t worry about stuff like that.

カミーユ
「…了解」
Kamille: ...Roger.

アーク
「あなたがショウ・ザマね?
一度お話したかったのよ」
Arque: You’re Show Zama, yes? We’ve actually been meaning to talk to you.

クリス
「[バイストン・ウェル]っていう、
おとぎ話みたいな世界から来たんだって?」
Chris: You come from some kind of fairy-tale like place called [Byston Well], don’t you?

ショウ
「…バイストン・ウェルは、
こうしてる今も国同士の争いが続いてる。
決して呑気な世界じゃない」
Show: ...The Kingdoms in Byston Well are still battling each other even as we speak. It’s not as whimsical as a fantasy world.

クリス
「おっと、聖戦士殿の機嫌を損ねてしまったか」
Chris: Uh-oh, didn’t mean to upset Sir Aura Battler over here.

ショウ
「あんたにそう呼ばれる筋合いはない」
Show: You don’t have the right to call me that.

クリス
「いや、悪気があったわけじゃないんだ」
Chris: Hey, I didn’t mean it in a bad way.

(Arque detects something.)

アーク
「クリス!
12時に敵反応多数! 近付いて来ているわ!」
Arque: Chris! Multiple enemy readings at 12 o’clock! They’re coming this way!

(Several GARDS-ORM mechs appear.)

クリス
「やれやれ、タイミングの悪い…
また後でゆっくり話をしようじゃないか」
Chris: Good grief, talk about bad timing... Let’s talk again later, okay?

アーク
「敵部隊の後方にヴァージェムも確認したわ!」

Chris: Waiting around isn’t really my style. I’m more the relentless attacking type.

Arque: Hmhm, that’s so like you, dear.

(Chris flies towards the GARDS-ORM.)

「早く終わらせて、
お前の好きなクリュッグを開けよう」
Chris: Let’s hurry and get this over with so we can open your favorite Krug.

「グラン・キュヴェ?」
Arque: Grande Cuvee?

クリス
「ヴィンテージさ!」
Chris: Vintage, of course!

(Chris destroys two of the GARDS-ORM.)

クリス
「このまま前方のヴァージェムを叩く!
後は任せたぞ!」
Chris: We’re gonna go say hello to the Viagem! You guys take care of things here!

カミーユ
「いや、先走るのは危険だ!」
Kamille: Wait, it’s not safe to rush off on your own!

(Chris leaves the map.)

チャム
「あーっ、行っちゃった」
Cham: Ah! They’re gone.

ショウ
(あの男は…)
Show: (That man is...)

カミーユ
「仕方がない、目の前の敵を片付けるぞ!」
Kamille: There’s no other way now. We have to defeat the enemies in front of us!

(Battle 1 begins.)

Show: Looks like that’s all of them for now.

「よし、クリス達を追いかけよう!」
Kamille: Alright, let’s get after Chris and Arque!

(Next scene begins on a different island filled map screen. Chris is battling GARDS-ORM, with the Viagem behind some Ulvorfurs.)

Chris: Come on!

(Chris defeats the Ulvorfurs.)

(Show and Kamille appear.)

「先行していたフリスベルグは…」
Kamille: Hraesvelg got ahead of us...

「あそこだ、派手にやってる」
Show: He’s over there, being hard to miss.

クリス
「よう、遅かったな。こいつが最後だ!」
Chris: Little late to the party there. This guy’s the last one!

(Chris moves towards the remaining Viagem and destroys it.)

クリス
「悪いな。もう終わってしまったぞ」
Chris: Sorry. Looks like it’s over.

カミーユ
「あれだけの規模の敵を…」
Kamille: He took down an enemy that big on his own...

クリス
「傭兵たるもの、戦果を挙げておかないとな」
Chris: It’s a mercenary’s job to get results.

ショウ
「…それだけじゃない」
Show: ...That’s not all there is to it.

クリス
「ん?」
Chris: Hm?

ショウ
「あんたの戦い方には陰がない。
世界がこんなことになってるのに、
どうしてそこまで戦える?」
Show: You fight like a man with nothing to lose. How can you keep fighting like that in a world like this?

クリス
「…こんな世界だからこそ、だ。
最後の最後まで戦いたいんだ」
Chris: ...It’s BECAUSE it’s a world like this. I just want to keep fighting until the very end.

Kamille: We’ll be fine, Show. The Ra Cailum and the Oceanus are here.

(The player’s team deploys.)

(Chris leaves the map.)

「ああっ、また先に行っちゃった!」
Cham: Ah, they’re going off on their own again!

Show: Oceanus, can you read me? This is Show Zama. I’ll go back up Hraesvelg.

Shima: Understood.

「放っておいても大丈夫じゃないの?」
Cham: Won’t he be fine on his own?

「いや、何か嫌な予感がするんだよ…!」
Show: No, I’ve got a bad feeling about this...!


(Scene changes to a different map screen of islands. Hraesvelg is on the map fighting the Viagem and Ulvorfurs.)

Chris: Trying to make me run my QL dry, huh? Unfortunately for you, I don’t waste shots!

(Chris defeats all the Ulvorfurs aside from the Viagem.)

アーク、ホロニックブレードを頼む!」
Chris: Time to end this! Arque, ready the Holonic Blade!

Arque: ...

「アーク!?」
Chris: Arque!?

「海が綺麗よ、クリス…」

(The Viagem attacks Chris.)

Bright: It’s been brought to my attention that the Hraesvelg pilots hope to be officially assigned to the Oceanus. I’d like to hear more details about them.

クリスとアークは夫婦で、他のセレブラム空母から
派遣された傭兵…フリーランスのような立場です」
Shima: Understood. Chris and Arque are married. They are mercenaries dispatched here from another [Celebram] battleship. ...You could say their position is that of freelancers.
