  1. [16:52] Noel Elisheva says, "I do."
  2. [16:53] Gisei Ultovex says, "Thera - Noel... What a surprise."
  3. [16:53] Syracuse Fengari asks, "Who and who?"
  4. [16:53] Aldrah says, "..."
  5. [16:53] Noel Elisheva says, "Is it? Y'know damn well we reside just to the south."
  6. [16:55]
  7. {LOAD GAME}
  8.
  9. [16:55] Aldrah asks, "Well. What we do with this two?"
  10. [16:55] Syracuse simply reached to his back, gripping the adamantite handle of his axe as he listened. Naturally he'd pull the weapon free. They where at war and the violence was only a matter of time.
  11. (Syracuse Fengari)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [16:55] Eniel Daigal asks, "You know them Gisei?"
  15. [16:55] Thera Elisheva says, "Afraid I can't believe that. Aaliyah was a friend of mine. I don't know who-"
  16. [16:56] Syracuse Fengari says, "We're at war, let's just beat them down and take them back to Dawn."
  17. [16:56] Thera Elisheva says, "Any of you are, or why you bothered to get so close to-"
  18. [16:56] Aldrah says, "Sure."
  19. [16:56] Gisei Ultovex says, "Aaliyah Ixis died five years ago, Thera."
  20. [16:56] Gisei Ultovex says, "If you you were her friend, you would've known that."
  21. [16:56] Eniel looked around and shrugged.
  22. (Eniel Daigal)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [17:05] "What are they going to do with us?"
  26.
  27. Noel turns to his wife and frowns a bit as the twin bamboo hilts are pulled from his waist. Divine energy pushes through them to form proper swords as the conversation goes on.
  28.
  29. "Not really ones for dialogue, are you?
  30.
  31. For the record, Levengard isn't involved in the war. But seeing as you've wandered right up to our backyard and seem intent on turning this into something.." The blades form fully and hover behind him with the help of his arcana magic.
  32.
  33. All the while, the forest around them begins to come to life. Vines rise from the earth to dance around the spirits that are conjured. He then pauses for a moment to look at the red auras of cosmic around two of them.
  34.
  35. "I'd be doing Calael a disservice if I didn't make this offer. He has a means for the undead to humanely pass on to their next life, Aliyah. That's an offer that will be on the table for you before and after whatever this becomes."
  36.
  37. He looks to his wife for a moment, then allows the Faeorum Arcana to fade from a prismatic cascade of colors to a simple black and white.
  38. (Noel Elisheva)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [17:08] Aldrah just yawns, again, grabing his staff.
  42. (Aldrah)
  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [17:11] The corrupt mana of the moon, the forces of the dead, these must be the ones responsible for endangering the spirits. Azure orbs shift between the four of them, still confused as to why they'd chosen here of all places to roam, to make their moves.
  46.
  47. Confusion she'd ignore, as survival takes precedence.
  48.
  49. Spirits swarm around her, and a low whir is emitted from her lower back. The ethereal chains that bind Shai unleashing the holy berserker. There is no time to second guess, or even think about the fear dwelling within. She shifts her gaze to Noel, head shifting side to side.
  50.
  51. "Don't waste your breath on violent, ignorant cowards. These Belial dogs have been roaming in packs, have been attacking our people, and I don't care for their piss poor excuses."
  52.
  53. Shaking fingers grab hold of her axe, prepared to defend herself, and her home.
  54.
  55. Meeting their hostility with her own.
  56. (Thera Elisheva)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [17:15] She moved, watching Noel...
  60.
  61. "You were always the kind type, Noel... But not everyone wants that kindness. You want me to abandon my life just so a nation doesn't hate me?" She let out a chuckle, her staff coming to her hand.
  62.
  63. "I killed Nasu. I killed Evi. Even if you cure me with that lighthouse, there is no erasing my sins." She was a sinner, and that was something that the girl has grown into. She was a creature of chaos now, unable to revert from what she had already become...
  64.
  65. Her right hand rose, as it did, the skin on her forearm began to crack - like glass.. And fall to the ground. A whole was produced, from which - chaos would begin to leak from. It grew, like a slime around the girl... Tough and very much present.
  66.
  67. Sors' cosmic infection took form inside of the undead.
  68.
  69. Eyes blossomed on the corruption, and as it hit the ground, it began to devour the very life out of what it touched...
  70.
  71. "Don't waste your breath Noel. Talk too much and you'll be wrinkly, and whoever you're dating right now is going to hold some elaborate plot to dump you."
  72.
  73. She giggled, the dead grass around her feet beginning to crystallise, turn to glass...
  74.
  75. "Don't pick a fight you know you can't win. Sors' most powerful undead. A necromancer. Two Belial cultists... You don't stand a chance with your order..."
  76.
  77. "All order bends to chaos."
  78. (Gisei Ultovex)
  79. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  80.
  81. [17:17] Eniel didn't seem to care about the people in front of them but he wanted to be sure he could defeat them...As he could sense arcane energies around the man he focused his intentions on him. Raising his hand into the air as space and time unfolded his blade appearing before him as his body began to coagulate in horrid tainted cosmic energies.
  82.
  83. He didn't care what the outcome would be he merely wanted to harm someone take someone away from their home no..it was more of a aberrant sensation that he lusted after. He wanted to see someone in pain. Broken shattered before him. Just like he was....his anger began to rise as the joyous freedom of his masters power overwhelmed him.
  84.
  85. Eniel's face was that of someone in deep pleasure the pain of battle no longer effected him. He drew his blade ready. As the woman with the spirits around her spoke Eniel's attention focused on to her..Belial dogs attacking her people....Ah he did remember something of the sort.
  86.
  87. " Thera yes?....Ah I remember so you're the one who is master to that spirit I attacked. You're the one who shackles the souls of the dead and pretends you are any better....I will free them from your slavery I will Liberate them from the Tyranny of Kraus that you bleed into this world. As the Exarch of Belial, You who worship the divines slavery towards humanity are my enemy."
  88.
  89. Eniel' Would begin to focus as he said a prayer before the battle started. Allowing for his ability to channel the arcane to come forth. A growing force malice and hatred rising with in him as he felt the euphoric release of his pain from the Belial's Embrace around him.
  90.
  91. "You have no choice here. Liberation of Belial. Or Liberation of Death. Those are the only options I afford to you who are wish to enslave mankind. "
  92. (Eniel Daigal)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [17:21] After removing his staff, the necromancer listened attentively to what his companions spoke and those two fools in front of him.
  96.
  97. At the end of the majority speech, Aldrah spoke in a clear tone, "Capture them. Cut off their legs, so they do not run, if necessary." then he snapped his fingers and his undeads began to move, preparing their weapons.
  98.
  99. "Let's see how long they keep talking bullshit."
  100. (Aldrah)
  101. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  102.
  103. [17:21] "Not involved in the way? Yet, you outlaw our gods and ally with those Sheng bastards to the south?"
  104.
  105. The look of disdain was palpable upon Syracuse's face. It stayed there for a solid handful of heartbeats.
  106.
  107. That is until his flesh erupted into a maelstrom of corrupted cosmic energy. It was an intoxicating surge of emotion. Not only to the mad prophet whose expression shifted from disdain to a manic glee, but also to those close. Urging them onward with a subtle degree of mania.
  108.
  109. "Bah, fair-weather friends to cowardly to fight with your allies."
  110.
  111. As he spoke ethereal tendrils simply spread from under his coat. Thick smoky appendages which seemed to drain the very mana from the air around the man.
  112.
  113. He frowned at the mention of Belial cultists wandering like packs of dogs. He'd no clue they where even other one's beside Eniel. His gaze glanced to the man as his grand speech came to a close.
  114.
  115. Then to Gisei at the mention of cultists. He wasn't a cultist.
  116.
  117. "Well, I guess you could surrender and avoid the fight. That'd work out just fine."
  118.
  119. With a lacsidasical shrug he made the offer off-handedly. No one would willingly surrender to an enemy.
  120. (Syracuse Fengari)
  121. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  122.
  123. [17:22] Gisei Ultovex asks, "Not involved yet Isaac and Sera fought against us?"
  124. [17:22] Gisei Ultovex says, "And oops, Sera got the chop."
  125. [17:22] Gisei Ultovex says, "How tragic. Not."
  126. [17:32] The royal rumble broke out, and as Gisei backed off... She would open rifts, tearing into the life stream itself before diving back in and slamming magic back into her adversaries... Drawing the marks of Wayfinding into the air, before using them as the catalyst for opening up quick and successful rifts.
  127.
  128. At one point, a rift opened right above Noel, from which Gisei came crashing down, a spear of crystal magic clenched into her arm which she released into his body...
  129.
  130. As it slammed into the angel in flight, flames consumed it, crashing into him...
  131.
  132. "Order will bend to Chaos."
  133.
  134. She landed besides Noel, the corrupt slime that covered her body itching towards his body... In order to consume his very mind. He began to hear it, the voices of paranoia that came from the magic attack his very mind... "Scared yet?" Yet still, the battle was not over, Thera had managed to beat her away from Noel - her task incomplete.
  135.
  136. Perhaps going into the future Noel could still hear some of those whispers of paranoia leaking from Sors' cosmic infection. Her hands rose again, the emerald glow of wayfinding on its tips as she would tear open a rift to move back to aiding her allies.
  137.
  138. "The Demi-angels chose the wrong side."
  139.
  140. She stepped through.
  141. (Gisei Ultovex)
  142. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  143.
  144. [17:33] The fight was intense, but due to the numerical advantage, the group of the necromancer managed to defeat the two.
  145.
  146. Using his wind magic, Aldrah used a powerful shockwave, sending Thera flying away. Where had she stopped? He did not want to know. Far away maybe, he did not want to walk anymore.
  147.
  148. "I think this.. Take care of the problem." He yawned, "Let's go back now." Aldrah nods to Syra.
  149. (Aldrah)
  150. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  151.
  152. [17:36] A directed blast of concussive forces made the young Exarch force his way through the lifestream rampaging his anger through the divine flow forcing it to bend to his will like his master had bade him do before. The Angels were indeed powerful they were capable of blocking and defending while putting up an incredible defense as well. They were by all means a powerful foe to fight against
  153.
  154. Eniel' moved in and out of Rifts aiming for Noel's each time only to be smacked away by a thorny vine, Which he would then introduce vicious blasts of Hellstorm magic that would rippled the area near Noel burning him allowing for his body to be seared and restrained by the horrid occultic magics.
  155.
  156. Eniel would see Noel was heading down from his roost in the skies he'd move to attack him a few slashes here and there with the impact of a meteor crashing into his face smashing him into the ground where Gisei could finish the rest. Eniel' then decides to Help Aldrah deal with the Spiritmancer.
  157.
  158. His anger vibrated into the lifestream once more. The spirits summoned by the woman. Eniel gathered his hatred for the slavers of the divine and launched forth a barrage of lightning corrupted by Belial's magic power towards her, Gathering his cosmic energy to invigorate the lightning around his blade for a final slash destroying her spirits in one quick sweep allowing for Aldrah to move in to finish her.
  159.
  160. " This is what happens to those who proliferate slavery in this world. I will break you time and time again. I am the Exarch of Belial. Knight of the Crimson star. Be sure you know my name. Be sure you fear my Master. As the Red Moon Smiles upon me, I will always rebel against those who wish for slavery under the name of Kraus and Angels. will be forced against the will "
  161. (Eniel Daigal)
  162. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  163. [17:53] Winning? It felt like a pipe dream, but her intention here isn't to win. It's to make a point, and profile. To learn each of their magics, and adapt. To learn their strengths, and their weaknesses.
  164.
  165. It's difficult to keep up with the chaos that ensues when six magi face off. Protective barriers are tossed up, in an effort to protect Noel. Whatever damage she manages to do is nugatory, even if two managed to temporarily get pushed back.
  166.
  167. She didn't care about whatever points they made, and mostly tuned them out once Eniel failed to realize the difference between spirit and souls.
  168.
  169. But, when he destroys the human essences, rendering their souls of a lifetime worth of memories?
  170.
  171. "You-" An expression of horror taints her features, gazing upon the destroyed spirits. When the wave of wind pushes her back, the last remnant of her mercy…
  172.
  173. Dies.
  174.
  175. Past arguments with Sera fly out the window. Any desire to handle situations like this with any semblance of honor, is shattered. Sera's yearning for justice, Shai's desire to slay the corrupt, and her own desire to protect. They all bubble and boil, coming to a helm, and through the pain..?
  176.
  177. She is embraced with a blinding light, protected by a golden angelic embrace, whispering before she crashes into the treeline.
  178.
  179. "..don't want to be saved?" Body slamming into the trees, she bears a smile, despite feeling her bones cracking.
  180.
  181. "So be it. You're all going to die."
  182. (Thera Elisheva)
  183. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  184.
  185. [17:56] Even with the odds stacked against him, that charismatic smile of his hardly falters.
  186.
  187. In this particular scenario, the objective was more so to survive than topple the opposition with overwhelming offensives. As such, the Warden to be surges into the air when the battle begins, his wings spreading out to their full length for the first time in a while.
  188.
  189. All the while, more and more of the colors from his Faeorum Arcana bleed out to black and white.
  190.
  191. "Order and Chaos. Masters and Gods. Are you really so foolish to think that everything in this world is so.. black and white?"
  192.
  193. Occultic flames from Eniel scorch his clothing but are unable to mar his skin, serving instead to reveal the quarter angel's physique beneath. He had expected nothing but animosity from the opposition, but for them to spout such unfounded claims one after the other? It only serves to remind him of what he had already learned from Satsuki's teachings.
  194.
  195. 'Not everyone can be saved from their own madness, and to try to do so is another definition of madness entirely.'
  196.
  197. A barrage of golden swords rains down in unison with Thera's as Noel hovers off the ground, flames and ice alike chipping away at his wings. But if they cared to look closely, they would notice something: a very detailed tattoo going from the base of his right shoulder all the way down to his right palm.
  198.
  199. The man eventually comes crashing back down to the ground as his vines whip and lash out at the attackers, to no avail. Skidding back across the battlefield, he glances over to his other half to ensure her safety, then thrusts both of his arms outwards to conjure a wall of cosmic energy that would span the length of the field, giving them room to escape.
  200.
  201. "Congratulations, you clown." He speaks directly to Eniel as his vines returnto the earth, singed and crippled. "You've slated yourself to become the first patient of my Sunyata. Someone like you can't be allowed to roam these lands freely."
  202.
  203. The tattoo glows an ivory white as his wings fully retract, leaving the single wing that the man had been cursed with some time ago.
  204.
  205. "Thera, we'll fall back for now."
  206.
  207. It was something that only she would pick up on, but the emotions he started the battle with had all but faded for the time being - they'd been sealed away in favor of a clear mind. If there was any anger or fear or even curiosity dwelling within him, they wouldn't be able to see or even feel it, should they have the gift of the Empath.
  208.
  209. He zips over to Shai's host and prepares to evacuate the area with her, that smile of his still present in the form of a smirk in the corner of his mouth.
  210. (Noel Elisheva)
