  3. Q: What are you trying to accomplish?
  4. A: I am trying to defeat Pkmn Trainer Red as fast as possible.

  6. Q: What does "Any% Glitchless" mean?
  7. A: "Any% Glitchless" is the name of the category I am running. The goal is to complete the game as fast as possible without any glitches.

  9. Q: What is the Best Time (BT) in this category?
  10. A: 3:10:54 in real time, by pokeguy, on console.

  12. Q: What is your current Personal Best (PB)?
  13. A: 3:15:05 in real time, on console.

  15. Q: What is your goal?
  16. A: 3:10:xx or better eventually. Derusting the game as of now.

  18. Q: How are you streaming/recording your runs?
  19. A: I use the following programs:
  20. > Twitch streaming: StreamLabs OBS
  21. > Timer: LiveSplit
  22. > Audio Timer: FlowTimer
  23. I use the following hardware:

  28. Q: What are the differences between Crystal and Gold/Silver?
  29. A: Crystal has less required trainers, more spinners, and has a completely different route in many parts of the game. Additionally, Crystal uses a legendary, whereas Gold/Silver use just the starter.

  31. Q: Why do you choose the girl for the run?
  32. A: She's faster because of how the game loads her vs. the boy.

  34. Q: Why do you set the time to 6:00 PM?
  35. A: This is necessary for manipulations.

  37. Q: Why do you name everything "A"?
  38. A: Naming commonly seen names one character saves frames throughout the entirety of the run. A is just the fastest character to select.

  40. Q: Which starter Pokémon do you select?
  41. A: I select Totodile. Totodile's Rage is very game-breaking in the beginning.

  43. Q: Why do you keep resetting the game?
  44. A: Either because I'm manipulating something or my time is really bad.

  46. Q: What are you manipulating?
  47. A: I am manipulating my SID to match Kenya's ID so I can win the Master Ball, Totodile's stats, encounters and Raikou's stats.

  49. Q: What are the stats you want for Totodile?
  50. A: Since Totodile is manipped, he will always have near-perfect stats.

  52. Q: Why do you catch [insert Pokémon here]?
  53. A: Here is a basic rundown of the entire team:
  54. > Totodile/Croconaw - First main Pokémon, Cut slave, potential Surf and Whirlpool slave.
  55. > Poliwag - Surf, Whirlpool and Waterfall slave.
  56. > Kenya (Spearow) - Fly slave.
  57. > Raikou - Last main. Strength slave.
  58. > Dratini (if no Poliwag) - Waterfall slave.

  60. Q: What happened to Entei?
  61. A: Entei sux.

  63. Q: What is a "spinner"?
  64. A: A spinner is a trainer that randomly looks in each direction. These spinning trainers cost precious time on account of extra time battling. There are a total of 17-18 unique spinners that I must pass 32-33 tiles worth of vision.

  66. Q: What are the hardest fights in this run?
  67. A: Rival 2 is easily the hardest fight. Bayleef has Razor Leaf, which has a 1 in 4 chance to critical hit; a critical hit most likely ends the run. Whitney can also end runs with an unpredictable Clefairy and a tough Miltank. Rival 3 can cause major problems with paralysis.
