Summary

Weird how none of you seem to have seen The Alternative Hypothesis' responses to Kraut's videos. Or find it odd Kraut didnt even link the article from TAH he criticized in his second video (because TAH wasnt arguing what Kraut claimed when he said they did the math wrong). Almost as if you guys just want to take his word for it all...

But let's look at Kraut's stellar arguments, shall we?

Video 1: r/K selection. Woes said he was just using it as a lens in his old videos. So, yea that wasnt just a face-saving exercise. Also, the originator of r/K E.O Wilson approved of Rushton using r/K within the human species. But there is more debate about the proper use of it in the scientific community, or if it is too antiquated to begin with. Clearly, contra Kraut, we didnt make up the idea

2: Kraut bungled the definitions of species and subspecies (sub-species can totally breed together. Even some species can and still produce fertile offspring because there are no hard and fast rules to any of these categorizations really). This was just part of an attempt to muddy the waters around using race as a concept, his expert even reading from a source which claimed using race leads to discrimination and therefore that counted against its use. A tangent about sickle cell aside (which does nothing with regards to race realism, in fact even strengthens the argument), the only significant contribution was the aforementioned strawman of what TAH was doing in his article, which is why he didnt link to the article. TAH just compared Fst distances between human races to Fst distances among animal subspecies.
