<Mani> and you believe them because they told you they know god's word

<bennerman> no, because he wouldn't have created me if he didn't love me

<Mani> You don't know God

<bennerman> would you create something you didn't care about?

<Mani> You know what people tell you about God

<Mani> I haven't ever really created a whole lot

<Mani> Because there can be fun in creation regardless of the product

<Mani> I created my computer

<Mani> I don't LOVE it

<Mani> I creat poetry

<Mani> I don't LOVE it

<Mani> I love the experience of creating things

<Mani> I don't always love what I create

<Mani> Because the journey is more important than the destination

<bennerman> I take pride in everything I create. It is an extension of me, it has my mark on it. To not care about something with my mark on it is to not care about myself

<Mani> Pride is not love

<bennerman> I also said I care

<Mani> Caring is also not love

<Mani> There's a reason we have different words for things

<Mani> The things that I love are the things I would be willing to give my life to protect

<Mani> THAT is love, to me

<bennerman> you are using my poor choice of verbiage to prove that god doesn't care about me?

<Mani> We have original sin, we are born suffering

<Mani> Does that sound like the act of a loving creator

<Mani> ?

<Mani> I'm just asking questions.

<Mani> I'm trying to help you realize that you have more power than you want to believe, because power is scary, that feeling that everything you've ever done and ever will do can only be attributed to you, is downright frightening

<Mani> But to deny that power is to deny the very essence of being human

<bennerman> I don't fucking want it x.x

<Mani> Whether or not you want it is irrelevant, you have it, and denying it won't make it go away
