- Laslow: I've heard that there aren't many of your people from your home left. I must say, I'm truly sorry for your loss.
- Sophia: *shakes head* As cold as this sounds... the only deaths that actually impacted me were our parents. The rest of the hamlet treated us with nothing but distrust on the best of days. It was a tragedy, yes, but... most of the departed gave me no reason to grieve for them.
