  1. -----------------
  2. We have had group fighting problems recently because we have been idle and farming rather than fighting compared to what we used to back in the day, so we are understandably rusty. We can always group fight and learn mentally from experience on who to lock and how to follow one another, but we are primarily lacking on hardware and what to use and how to use it, so I am going to clear this up for you all.
  3. I know this game is about fun but we just need some group fighting help if we want to really smash the competition every time. Follow this strategy guide and we can lead each other to victory.
  4.
  5.
  6. IMPORTANT:
  7.
  8. **I don't know where to put this, but being tanky config is better than a damage config, your goal is to survive longer than them not kill them the fastest, we don't need damage configs when we all shoot at once.**
  9.
  10. -----------------HARDWARE-----------------
  11. VVV VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE VVV
  12.
  13. **You must stay by these three people at all times no matter what**
  14.
  15. **These people are the team leaders who call the shots, so you ALWAYS WILL BE IN A SPECTRUM IN A GROUP FIGHT**
  16.
  17. Redbrick --Main Citadel(ALWAYS STAY NEAR ME DONT RUN AWAY)
  18.
  19. Dave --Spectrum(clan leader, you must survive longer than us)
  20.
  21. Nexus --Spectrum or Solace(second shot caller to Dave, up to you my man)
  22.
  23. VV LEADER SUPPORTS VV
  24.
  25. **You are the second line of defense when shit hits the fan and we need assistance.
  26.
  27. **Just in case one of you aren't online I'll put someone else in the spot**
  28.
  29. SOMEONE(maybe frosty) --Aegis/Hammerclaw(you need to heal redbrick and second citadel primarily)
  30.
  31. SOMEONE --Citadel(must be with redbrick at all times)
  32.
  33. ------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. VVV EVERYONE ELSE VVV
  36.
  37. Solace: is the backbone of our group because of its insane ability, you are the SUPPORT and you heal everyone.
  38.
  39. Sentinel: if you are in a tank config and be on the FRONT LINES, you are the TANK and you must absorb damage for us with your ability
  40.
  41. Aegis/Hammerclaw: if you want to heal people and stay behind the team, your job is not supposed to do damage so if you want to fight pick something else
  42.
  43. Citadel: You need to draw fire and be x2 cooldown boosted, the team must stay by you
  44.
  45.
  46. DONT DO---
  47.
  48. Cyborg or Venom: The ability is only good for chasing, but in a fight it is easy to EMP it off and you are not supposed to chase, nor do you do a lot of damage with it
  49.
  50. Any ship that has no team assistant ability
  51.
  52. OPTIONAL---
  53.
  54. Spearhead: Because they are in a solace or cyborg 90% of the time, so your JAMX doesn't do anything against solace because it is an instant and unpredictable ability and whenever you have venom on you, you are typically low so you might as well EMP.
  55.
  56. IF you are going into a spearhead them make sure you are the group scout and give us the lock damage bonus as well as JAMX any long duration ability like spectrum or sentinel
  57.
  58. THERE SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN TWO SPEARHEADS AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
  59.
  60. Diminisher: The ability lacks team fight potential but it does allow you to focus your damage purely on their shields with raw power of hundresds of thousands of damage, so use this if you are targetting their heavy hitters individually.
  61.
  62.
  63. *************MAKE SURE YOU ARE DOUBLE COOLDOWN BOOSTED***********
  64.
  65. -----------------------------------------
  66. VVV AMMUNITION VVV
  67.
  68. **This is basic shit guys come on, I spend and sacrifice every single peice of precious uridium I get to buy this shit so you should too.**
  69.
  70.
  71. --Energy Leech/Precision targeter/Battle Repair Bot**
  72. --Instashields and Smartbombs
  73. --DCR Rockets**
  74. --Ice Rockets
  75. --Infection ammo**
  76. --Cure infection chips**
  77. --EMPS
  78. --PLD
  79. --DDM and slowdown mines
  80. -All shared boosters and double cooldown boosters
  81.
  82. -----------------------------------------
  83. You probably won't read all of this shit but some notes:
  84.
  85. NOTES:
  86.
  87. Being tanky is better than a damage config, your goal is to survive longer than them not kill them the fastest, we don't need damage configs when we all shoot at once.
  88.
  89. Don't chase enemies whatsoever
  90.
  91. Use smartbombs all at once so we do massive amounts of damage
  92.
  93. Infection the primary lock, do not infect all of them at once
  94.
  95. Always cure people no matter what
  96.
  97. Use your EMPS when needed not to uncloak someone
  98.
  99. If you can't decide which design, use a either a Sentinel, Solace, Spectrum or Diminsher.
  100.
  101. If you want to lay DDM mines on the enemy lay them farther away than normal, away from the team.
  102.
  103. It is important to use INFECTION AMMO on whoever the lock is so you can moth them down easy and they can't escape.
  104.
  105. Use Smart bombs and kamikazie to do area of effect damage on all ships.
  106.
  107. Listen to the shot caller and lock on one person, use infection ammo, moth, gg ez.
  108.
  109. Always stay with the group and do not stray no matter what.
  110.
  111. Whenever someone runs, let them run if they are faster than you. For the love of all that is holy do not chase them in moth or wheel(Iron douche).
  112. -----------------------------------------
  113. This is probably the best guide I can muster up from a bunch of videos and experience from group fighting recently, and I'll post a strategy guide regarding popping bases instantly and effeciently.
