Alexithymiaa: Alexithymiaa: Alexithymiaa: -Steph sat at the patio table, one of the wooden blocks constructed in her lap with a piece of sandpaper sitting on top of it. She had her laptop set up on the table and she casually browsed the web page while sanding the block smooth in her lap. Penny was trotting around the yard with her stuffed duck in her mouth, just kind of proud to walk around with it because it's hers.-
Covet: Felix was just chilling in the pool listening to some music while Steph was working on her block project for Cadence's and Remy's baby. He had a joint in his hand and a bottle of juice because that's how he rolls. Looking over at Steph he pulled his heaphones down around his neck, the music playing loudly. "What are you multitasking with over there?" He asked from the unicorn.
Alexithymiaa: -She turned her head from her laptop, moving her hand to the edge of the computer to turn it away from his view before casually shrugging her shoulders. "Just researching and stuff. And sanding my fingerprints off." She held up the block in her hands, trying to sort of focus moreso on that than the computer. "I want to get my sanding done so I can prime them as soon as possible."-
Covet: "That's probably a good thing I guess, You are already a known criminal, so it only makes sense that you should make sure if you happen to commit a crime again that it can't be traced back to you." He told her with a smug look. " How long is it going to take you to get them painted?" He asked then started slowly trying to kick himself her direction. "Do you want the rest of this?" He asked holding out half of the joint slowly floating towards her.
Alexithymiaa: "If I happen to commit a crime? You make it seem like I just casually decide on a whim to break the law. Trust me, it's premeditated." She said with a smirk, looking down at the cube in her hand. "I'm not sure. I'll have a better idea when I do one of the faces. I have a feeling it'll take me a couple hours to do one face. So if there's six faces on each block, probably about twelve hours per block." She glanced up at him floating, holding her hand out. "Yes I do."-
Covet: "Shhhh, don't say it like that. If you say it was on a whim, then you can at least try the insanity plea. Which is way better than prison." Felix said as he got as close to the edge as he could, in order to give her the other half of the joint. "That's a lot of work to put into one project though. Because that's not including all of this work too. And the finishing work."
Alexithymiaa: "Ehhhh..... has anyone ever actually thought you were insane? Like for real? I'm thinking prison might be better in some cases." She set the box down on the table with her sandpaper, grabbing her crutch and pulling herself up to her feet so she could limp to the side of the pool to take the joint from him. "It is a lot of work, yeah, but..." She trailed off, shrugging. "Cadence is family."-
Covet: "I don't have to answer that question." He said with a skeptical glare at her, then scoffed. "It's nothing like Orange is the New Black, I can assure you that." He told her then smiled, "You have until September though right? Isn't that what she said?"
Alexithymiaa: "I haven't actually seen that. When it was really popular, I kind of didnt have time for tv. And other things have come out since that I've watched in my downtime. I've never really been big into tv." She said with a shrug, bringing the joint up to her lips to take a hit. "Yeah, something like that, but babies are kind of unpredictable so Baby B might come sooner than that."-
Covet: "Oh good, it's eh, first season is alright, but then it just kind of goes on and on." He said waving his hand about, Then he perked his head up and looked at her. "You watch, you just jinxed it. Now their kid is going to come early. Good Job Aunty Steph." He said accusingly.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey, with how Cadence feels right now, I don't think that's technically jinxing it. If anything I just did her a favor. AND I would be excited to meet Baby B early anyway so MEH." She said as she stuckk her tongue out at him, taking another hit off the joint and waving her crutch at him.-
Covet: "You are a terrible friend." Felix said with a laugh. "Isn't it bad for them to be this early though?" He asked, knowing NOTHING about babies. "Careful with your crutch waving gimpy."
Alexithymiaa: "Right now? Eh, but just a little early? Not at all. They induce labor all the time when there's complications." She set the crutch down on the ground, narrowing her eyes at him. "You better not have just called me gimpy."-
Covet: "Oh, gotcha. You don't think she's having complications do you?" He said raising an eyebrow at her then shook his head, "What? Someoen called you gimpy? When... How? That's just rude." He said looking around, being an ass.
Alexithymiaa: "What? No... I... I don't think so. She hasnt mentioned anything to me..." She furrowed her brows, trying to recall all the details Cadence had given her lately. "Excuse you. Be nice otherwise I'll show you exactly what I'm going to do with this crutch." She said, poking it through the air in his direction again.-
Covet: "I know she's kind of cut back on how much she's out and about, but that's normal for her when she's that big right?" Felix said, unkowingly insensitively, then added, "What? Flail it at me some more? You can continue though, you squish your boobs together when you do it, and I get to see them wiggle." He smirked, giving her a cheeky grin.
Alexithymiaa: "It's not about how big she is, it's about how she feels." She said WAY too quickly, frowning. "ARIZONA!" She yelled, her face flushing and she almost instantly put the crutch down on the ground and stopped moving. "You deserve nothing."-
Covet: "Okay but if I had an eight pound ball stuck to my stomach on a daily basis, I would probably feel like shit." He said to her then laughed at her response, before she told him he deserved nothing. " What?! Why? Because I was admiring my hot girlfriend?"
Alexithymiaa: "Because... because... because I said so. You can admire your hot girlfriend in a much nicer way." She let out a huff, swiping her hair from her eyes.-
Covet: "I could, but those ways dont' get her all flustered like this one does." He said still giving her a cheeky fucking grin.
Alexithymiaa: "And why must you get me all flustered? I'm over here being all nice to you all the damn time and you're just trying to make me flustered. That's not very nice." She stuck her right leg out in front of her, slowly lowering herself to the ground so she could drop her legs into the pool, watching him. "You're making me regret my decisions."-
Covet: "Threatening me with your crutch, and flailing it at me are not nice things. Missy." He told her with a look, then watched her intently as she sat down putting her feet into the water. " Which decisions are those?"
Alexithymiaa: "I was only retaliating after you did things!" She retorted, waving her feet through the water gently. "Decisions you don't know about yet, and you won't know about for a little while. Don't worry about it, just know it's positive things that should not be a burden on your mind."-
Covet: "Well now they are, because you said they were things and taht you were regretting them.. so now I want to know what I made you regret." He said looking at her as he brought his hand up a little bit to splash her, just enough that her upper legs got wet.
Alexithymiaa: "HEY! I meant you're making me regret doing nice things for you because you're a little brat!" She said with a laugh, putting her hand up to try to block the water. That doesn't work. "Can't you just relax and not be a pain in my ass for like five minutes?"-
Covet: "I could be a pain in other places if you'd rather." He told her, "I'm just making sure the scales are balanced here. I was well behaved last week."
Alexithymiaa: "Is that how this works? Because I have to tell you if that's how you're basing it, you are severely out of balance here. You've been catering to my shit for way too long to ever get that balance back. You'll just have to live with the fact that you're a nice guy who's well behaved and does nice things. Get over it." She stuck her tongue out at him again, leaning forward to swipe her hand across the top of the water to splash at him.-
Covet: "Well then you'll just have to deal with it and get used to the fact that Sometimes I'm an obnoxious pain in the ass, just because I love you. And don't want this to feel onesided at all" He told her as he put his hand up to block the water.
Alexithymiaa: "Well then you'll just have to deal with the fact that I have your mother on speed dial and she'll pretty much always take my side. So hah!" She said with a laugh. She loved the idea that she could call Rochelle for something as silly as this and everyones okay with it. Being momless does this.-
Covet: "Huh.. See.. somehow I knew that was going to happen, I just didn't expect it to still sting when you said it. " He said rubbing his chest like his heart was hurting or some BS.
Alexithymiaa: "Awww.... poor baby. Come here..." She said as she stuck her bottom lip out, holding her arms out to him. "I know it's rough not being the favorite."-
Covet: "You're lucky your cute or I would not take kindly to your mockery." He told her starting to kick that way out again. "I'm always the favorite, even when it's said I'm not, I totally am." He told her
Alexithymiaa: "I do feel pretty lucky." She said with a smile, sitting up a bit straighter. "I'm pretty sure your mother isn't actually allowed to pick a favorite. That goes against parent laws or something. That aside, you and Seb both know I'm the favorite so don't even pretend its any other way." She planted her hands underneath her, slowly lifting herself up off the concrete so she could get her left foot underneath her before she pushed herself the rest of the way up with a flourish. "Look, all on my own."-
Covet: "Yeah, yeah... it's only because she didn't have any girls of her own. Don't feel too special over there." He said with a grumble then smiled as she got up all on her own, "Hey look at that, That's awesome Red, I'm super proud of you." He told her as he made his way to the edge of the poool so that he could get out of the water as well, though he was signivicantly more wet than she was.
Alexithymiaa: "Just let me have this." She waved him off, leaning over to pick up her crutch so she could lean on it. "We've been doing a lot of strength training in PT and he said he can definitely see the improvement. As soon as I have a little bit more flexbility in my knee, he said he'd clear me to drive." She spoke excitedly, walking over to the table to close the laptop so he wouldnt be able to see what was on the screen, tucking it under her arm.-
Covet: He did his best to shake his butt off form any excess water. " You can have it for now, only because you're doing so great. Look at how far you've come from." He told her as he pressed a kiss to her cheek then whistled for the dogs to get ready to come into the house as well.
Alexithymiaa: "Soon enough I'll be able to dance... and run.. and do normal errands without a babysitter. Which reminds me, Kristen is picking me up tomorrow around eleven and I'm not entirely sure if I'll need help getting into her truck." She said as she started toward the door, glaring at him as he shook off. "Don't get me wet..."-
Covet: "You're fine, I'll get you wet here in a second." He told her then nodded, "Alright I can be around to help you out with that. Then just send me a message when you're on your way back
