  1. Blue Daggers outline – Novel 2
  2. Prologue
  3. Waves of aetheric energy roil over the Sector, temporarily cutting off all communications between Naxos and Cloudburst. Drumnos remains contactible for a few weeks, then all goes dark. The Daggers destroy the Cylinder in orbit.

  5. Act 1
  6. Anarchy in Cloudburst. The Daggers retain control of Septiim, but the opening of the Rift darkens Astropathic and Astronomican psionics. Arden scrambles the survivors to Oglith to try to help there. Perspective cuts to Oglith. Blue Daggers there fighting desperately to contain the Orks. Deathwatch Killteam is on Dascomb again. Suddenly colossal warship arrives at the edge of the system. Cut to Oglith. The Marines in the Oglith battlezone are fighting desperately since the Glasians arrived before the Orks were purged.

  8. Act 2
  9. Mimic kills Atongwë, then Guilliman arrives on Dascomb. Guilliman suddenly arrives to proclaim that the Sector has been thrown two years out of sync with the rest of the Galaxy, but Lord Commander Dante is now his Regent Imperial for the northern galaxy. Domack explains that the Sector’s defenses are all caught up in fighting the Orks and Glasians. Guilliman is annoyed but understands. He sends the Primaris Marines in his force ahead to the Drumnos region in anticipation of fighting through the dust clouds there back into the heart of Imperial space. The battlefield is descending into total chaos as daemons, Orks, Imperials, and a Glasian Cylinder fight it out on Oglith. Guilliman leads the Deathwatch teams, Steadfast and Copperhead, to Oglith. Mimic aids the Killteams and Guilliman along with assassinating Squiggothrider. A Cylinder suddenly appears over Oglith to reinforce Oglith. Guilliman and Arden realize that Gorum’s Folly has fallen. Survivors limp in from Gorum’s Folly and report that all is lost.

  11. Act 3
  12. Guilliman goes to Dawn-break after leaving behind enough troops to secure the Rampart system. There, he collects duPree, Walsh, and Prinz’ forces and crushes the Glasians with the Indomitus forces. There is a climactic battle against the forces of Tzeentch with Arden and Guilliman leading the Imperial forces. Cawl leaves behind a secret order for Beraxos to begin researching the Ruin Guns of the Glasians.
  13. Epilogue: Guilliman takes a while to speak candidly with Domack and Arden, confessing his extreme distaste for the current Imperium, but presses onward, resolutely.
