- collarbones at an angle
- shift body weight
- create gaps against walls with lower back and elbows
- one hand higher than the other (avoid mirroring for couples)
- symmetrical posing (single person, strong)
- three point check (single person, finessed)
- placement of subjects must be self-explanatory & believable (couples)
