- House of Anos, the Grand Planet
- Within this chapter, Inante takes Uri into a sacred room within the church. He would guide the lad further onto the path of the stars through his great wisdom. From here, Uri was introduced to the many Faiths and all the qualities each symbol possessed. For even if you were not a magi of the stars, you could still hold these ideals close to your heart. For Uri it was the desire to protect, to spread his wings one day and have the skills capable of protecting, and mending the injured within the town of Osrona. It's clear that Inante uses his talents to better guide Uri through this deep meditation, until he could catch a glimpse of what its like to connect with a star.
- [13:30] Uri would have entered the church at this point. After completing some time with both his medical and fire practices of magic. He thought it would be a better time, now more than ever, to finally seek out Inante for the guidance he's been wishing for, the guidance of the stars... Even though, he has a tome at home, one he has no access to.
- Young Uri thought it would be best, to seek this wisdom from someone who could possibly be a mentor to him if not anyone else... "Priest Inante," the boy smiled, bowing his head in respect... Now in some cultures, the subjects would kiss the hand of the priest, but, Uri was far too shy to do such things.
- "It's a blessing to of found you today. I've come to ask, for more of your guidance in the art of the stars... I've found a light within my goals, I see a road where a dream is also a true possibility." He speaks calmly, waiting for an answer. Yes, he was 13, but raised to respect and speak formally amongst those of certain status.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [13:41] Inante would be idling reading his Codex Cosmos, Not paying too much mind to Kofe and his friends conversation but he was there and couldn't just pretend he wasn't listening in on bits and pieces.
- As Uri approached him and made his proposition his gaze looked up from his book and gave them a warm and welcoming smile, It was to be expected after all. "Ah, To be connected with the stars? That is indeed something I can assist you with, While I am not a practitioner of Cosmic Magic, I believe myself knowledgeable enough in the basic practice to guide you into connecting more closely to your star." He'd give a thumbs up to the young cadet as he strides gathers his cloaks around him.
- "But first let me reintroduce myself to you. As of this morning, I am the Head of the Celestial Church, Stellus Inante Arl Salis, Stellus Salis is sufficient enough for now." He'd give a wink not really boasting but just informing the cadet of his new ranking position.
- "So Cadet Uri, How may I guide you closer to the stars today?" He'd ask in a warm and soothing tone.
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [13:48] He was taken off guard by the news, after all, he had known this mans name and face for so long, he thought that Inante would always be a priest. Now, even though Inante was no cosmic master, it would be a better help than all he's had so far, being guided blindly through other means. "First, let me say, congrautlations Father Inante---How am I to address you?" he was curious of this new title so much so, that it made him have a slight brain fart, forgetting the titles of addressing within the church.
- "I want to try it, to establish a connection with the stars..." he looks at Basil behind him. He thought of the Prince Alexander as well, but most importantly, he thought of his family name. The Sanctum, and how they were known for their many arts that drived from the forces of light itself. So he would take this knee, and hold his hand out to Inante.
- Flat with his palm facing the sky. Uri waits for the acceptance in todays guidance for he knew not of where he was going. "I have one desire, to help all those around me as well as defend them, to become a Phoenix for the people... And I come to you today, as an empty cup waiting to be filled."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [13:54] Fill his cup...was that some sort of innuendo...anyways he looked a bit confused at exactly the young boy was getting at so instead he just decided to ask.."Er...what exactly does that entail.." he was almost afraid to ask.
- "If you wish to defend people I can teach you the magic to do that, I just need you to be more straightforward haha..I don't have any idea what a Phoenix for the people is or does. But I can help you achieve a better connection with the stars at least." The young Stellus was a bit distressed but he kept his cool just trying to play it down in a humorous manner.
- "So are you asking me to teach you Holy or cosmic magic? I can only teach you the starting point of Cosmic magic but I can probably teach you holy in a few lessons. Or did you just want a prayer today?" He'd ask gingerly still not quite sure what it is Uri was here for but it was some sort of training he assumed.
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [13:59] He shakes his head, laughing a bit in a soft and low tone, "I'm sorry about that... Formalities in my family are kept high...But I am looking for lessons in Cosmic, yes." He maintains his smile.
- "I was conflicted before, choosing the road between the holy light and the stars. But, my journey has lead me back to the stars, again, again and again." He would finally stand if he was permitted such.
- "I want to one day try and heal others, through the power of the stars, to use my strengths as a means to defense." I short... Uri just wanted to take the road of the Cosmos and one day discover a new light that will close the gap for his goals.
- "So far, I just know all that you told me in our first encounter, that the stars will choose you. Yes?" He humbly waits.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:05] Ah there it was, Inante chuckles again before giving a nod, "Why of course I suppose the ritual to connect Acolytes to the stars is a good way to start, Its quite simple really." Inante would head towards the side wing of the Church.
- "Lets go some where more private so we can have our lesson alright? It shouldn't take too long actually especially if there is a particular star you wish to connect with if you seek it out and ask of its aid perhaps it will bond with you." He'd give a wave over for young Uri to follow him along.
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [14:09] Uri nods his head. "I'm curious about the star of Wisdom, and the star of the people... I do not remember their names, but I want to know how I should approach them?"
- After all, his knowledge on them was limited. "My family only left me with a few pages to this book my siblings and I are supposed to piece together... This is all I know.."
- Uri would read the portion of the book aloud. "To commune with the very stars above and take on their power as a conduit. Focusing your very being to embody their personified traits. To seek the cosmos is to seek a new life. But to obtain the magic of the cosmos, one must first establish a connection with a star. Sometimes, they are as picky as anyone on earth, only choosing to bless and give gifts to those who appear interesting. Now there are many forms of the cosmic magic, but its all the same when broken down.
- Through a stronger connection, you will be able to ascend and gain a much greater power. Now each star and their powers could vary depending on what you strive for. But, as long as you fight under the name of your star and cherish the power given to you. You will likely succeed in many battles, and no matter where you are. The stars can always guide you, perhaps not in a literal sense, but your spirit will never be alone. - Used and Mastered by Fleur Sanctum."
- He takes a breath. "That's all I know," says Uri as he folds the piece of paper, putting it back into his locket.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:24] "Mh I never found it to be that difficult but I suppose everyone employs different methods." Inante shrugs after hearing the words of said book. The young Stellus sits in front of the Celestial Star, and he clasps his hands kneeling in a meditative stance.
- "I can't say for certain, But as that book delved into a little bit each star has their own personality. How would you talk to someone you're interested in? You'd talk about something that you both share in common wouldn't you? Well its basically that easy. Except you must exist outside your physical self and allow for the connection to be made through mana." Inante would take a seat on the prayer mat, His legs folded under himself and
- "First I allow for my mind and body to be at peace, Allowing my breathing to help me relax. I clear my mind, yet I open my soul to the acceptance of the stars influence." He'd give instructions while also showing an example of how to do it.
- "If you're capable cover yourself in as much mana as you can, Energy magic is something all magi can do inherently and Energy magic is known to cut into different realms. Of course with this small amount of energy magic that's common you won't be able to manifest yourself in totality unless of course you were an Energy magi or Cosmic magi, Or a well trained Priest or Sage, So instead just try to connect with the star as best as you can."
- Inante would raise his hand to his chest. A flood of emotions coming over him as his holy magic races around his body to envelope him an benevolent light. "Now don't expect yourself to be fully in control either, Remember you are asking for something, not taking it. The stars will give you their strength as long as you ask as you would a friend."
- "Stars do not often speak with words, Only to the chosen few does that occur but instead they communicate through the vibrations of magic, and through connecting with them to your soul. You can feel their words more so than hear them. And the connection begins with just a thread. The rest you'll have to pull on and converse with and it takes an abundance of practice." He'd look back to Uri to see if he was following along so far.
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [14:33] There was quite a bit of steps there for Uri to take and pay attention to. But, even though it would seem easier for some. He wondered, if he could be as confident as Inante and establish this friendship with the stars. "Just like I would a friend, or well, in this case. A stranger trying to become a friend?"
- He smiled, getting down into a meditation position. He would interlock his fingers together, closing his eyes and breathing with a gentle motion. However, his focus would slip away, as this was the very first time where he'd actually try and reach out to the stars through his mana. "I ---Will need some practice huh?" He chuckles, because he knew it wouldn't be easy.
- From the top, he would try to focus on his energy, his mana... Not in the way he would do with flames though, no this would be the natural mana of his in its raw form shrouding around him. "I shouldn't use elements such as fire, right?" He was curious, but, because he asked this question, his focus was broken yet again.
- He remained quiet for the time, trying to establish a new ground of focus and allow for his body to be at peace. For him to send a calling, his own being or rather spirit for this matter, reaching out for the stars. He would continue to take deep breaths and slow exhales.
- Now, Uri did not mind the stars not speaking directly, but, he would pray, day in and day out. For a day where the stars decide to choose him as their trusted friend for this life time. "I don't feel anything... Maybe, because we--- we've only just begun."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:40] "Mh no not a stranger, The stars know your soul all to well, As they know all souls. When we die our souls are ascended to the stars where they burn all corruption and sin out of our souls and we are reborn anew. With a new life, Birthed by the stars. Perhaps a stranger to you, But never to them."
- After Inante finished his description he watched as Uri struggled to connect, Breaking his concentration time and time again. "No I'd stick to using Energy shroud its all you really need to get started." He'd say with a soothing tone, Not aiming to be too forceful or strict.
- As he watched the boy refocus himself only to break the silence once more with a question. "You're thinking about it too much, This is a connection based on your feelings not what you're capable of. Just relax, breath, and let yourself drift into space."
- He'd instruction of course Inante was already helping him out as best he could, His own holy magic was permeating throughout the area, Soothing and rich and warm his magic would be aiming to help bolster the connection with the stars. "Yes we've just begun but remember, You have to get out of your mind and your body. It'll take a lot more tries than just one."
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [14:42] * You have been awarded 4 Roleplay Points! *
- [14:46] Inante was spot on with what he said. Uri was over thinking it, possibly because of how his family views the light magics, how they honor the Holy, the cosmos and the light itself. He was in need of something to help him relax, and not think on what it could result to, compared to what he needed to do right now.
- He had to try something new, and well it was not anything new but the instructions he was given, to pay heed to them closely.
- He then, he took a deep breath, calming himself down a bit. "Sorry about that," said Uri. His hands gently clapped together as he then closes his eyes. To not think, to let his mana do the talking, to just take hold and shape the energy shroud around him for this would be the only way he'd gain access and possibly the favor of the stars.
- He wouldn't ask what the next step was. But rather, he would focus on himself, on the mana within that shall be parted from his physical body, only for a short time. Similar to how one would meditate through fire but on a new league of its own for this was a hidden form of magic. "Alright..." He whispers to himself.
- Uri attempts to clear his mind. To build his mana, as if he were a man with a huge cup of water, trying to pour that water into a small pipe without spilling any of it. That was the form of focus he would need, the type of goal he'd have to set mentally. "Easy does it..."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:51] Inante watches closely after all it was the most he could do after he gave his instructions, Connection with the stars was a personal affair what he explained was mostly how he envisioned the conversations he had with the stars and how best he could invoke their will.
- He used his holy magic as a conduit to unseal and release his feelings of empathy and compassion, allowing them to become heightened so Uri could feel his emotions far more deeply. Perhaps that was all the young Stellus could do for now.
- After all until he had become a true Star Speaker, he could only give theories and methods of how best to connect to the stars. And hope for the best.
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [15:00] Wisdom... Intellect... Guardians... These were the three houses of which Uri could possibly enter based on his spiritual presence alone. Throughout his life, he's always looked to do what he could for his family, for the people of Osrona, a quality of his great great ancestor, descending from someone who was a strong member to the house of Yiel.
- Now he sits there, meditating with his emotions running deep, feeling the light within. Some things became clear, his goals and his desire to help others. Now, he always wanted to defend, yet, he had a keen interest in knowledge, in collecting all the wisdom he could and use it for the growth of his beloved kingdom Osrona.
- But where will he go? Where should he hail from. And most importantly, would this make his struggles and strife any more different from the average Joe? There would be many questions upon questions, but for now. Uri would have made that choice or rather, the stars would present it to him, already knowing the path he would walk....
- Because he swore to defend the nation, because of his deep love for the common man and those of nobility. Due to his past, his present and his goals of the future. To become a phoenix, wise, strong and bright. He must accept the fact that he is what the stars made him out to be. A soul willing to risk their lives for the sake of others, someone who will show care and compassion for even his enemies...
- Uri had called upon, the house of the Guardian celestials, otherwise known as, "Anos - The Grand Planet..." He said in a soft tone, a spirit at ease. His meditation would continue for as long as Inante would have Uri maintain it for. And it should also be mentioned that Uri did not just get this connection, no there was much build up to go through. For now, he would keep his mind set on this house, and even take and inherit its symbol, even beyond the day where he could truly call himself, a Cosmic Magi.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- As Inante would allow for the mediation to go on for about an hour when Uri was finally quite and removed from his head and thinking about things to much Inante would rescind his aura of holy magic from the area.
- And allow for Uri to slowly fall back into his own consciousness. Of course without Inante's help it would've been much harder, But with an initial connection being forged, Uri was more than likely able to do so again.
- "Welcome back to reality my friend. I hope you were successful at least?" He'd ask with a warm smile on his face as he looked at the sleepy boy waking from his supposed nap.
- "So tell me were you able to do it? Or did you just fall asleep and pull my leg here?" his expression only showing a bit of teasing after all Inante would only know what he was told at this point.
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [15:13] During this state, it was amazing, all the things he felt, what he could see, not through his eyes but from his spirit. What he felt, and it was no easy feat, it came with a fragile sense of focus... One touch and he could be out of it, but Uri was strong willed, at least when it came down to art such as this.
- "Look at that," he said to himself in this mental state, gazing at the constellation star, the house of the guardians known as Anos… He had never seen something so bright, something where he felt like he was at home, even trying to touch it for himself. Uri smiled into the light and he would have to have many more sessions of meditation before that same light could smile back.
- Then, it came to an end, his viewing of that light. He felt himself, falling as if he would never reach the ground. Only thanks to Inante's light did he wake up from that state, looking around asking the Stellus. "Where is it? Where did it come from? Where did it go?... The Cosmic Masterpiece," Uri spoke said peacefully. He felt enlightened by the sheer beauty of the stars above.
- "I believe, I did it... But, I wanna keep doing it... I'm starting to see why, my family cherished the light so dearly." His widened eyes came to their relaxed state as he leaned forward on all fours, picking himself up just to stare at the Star statue before him.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [15:14] Inante Arl Salis says, "Mhm Its quite a marvelous feat is it not? Its why so many magi in Esshar bless themsleves by attuning to the light that the stars emminate. You've only gone through the first step, Learn to use this power to improve yourself and you'll go far."
- [15:16] Uri nodded, "Thank you Inante, I couldn't have done this without your guidance... I promise, I'll not let your teachings go to waste." He said with a smile, hoping and praying he would one day obtain the tome of the stars, to learn from and show the results of Inante's kindness.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [15:18] Inante Arl Salis says, "Well I look forward to hearing of your exploits and the day you become a Knight young Uri. Go with the stars and they will forever bless you."
- [15:18] Inante Arl Salis says, "Also Stellus Salis please..."
- [15:18] Inante would give a smirk and a wink.
- (Inante Arl Salis)
- [15:21] Uri gave his thanks after sharing that smile. "Stars be with you, Stellus Salis…" It would take some time for him to remember that without having to actually try and force himself to say it. But now, he would take his leave for he knew the Stellus had many duties of his own. "Thank you again, and continue to share your light with those who are as lost as I was... You may already know, how great it feels, to have someone taking you down a road you know nothing of." He was forever grateful to the Faith, most especially Inante for even taking his time to speak let along guide Uri.
