  1. It had all started on a cold night in 2017, just after his fiancée had packed up her things and loaded them into her car.
  2.
  3. He had followed her outside to try and talk about things, only for her to drive away, cutting him off entirely from trying to get her to stay, him walking back inside and sitting down on his bed, burying his face into his hands.
  4.
  5. 'You knew this was inevitable, right? Nobody else before her stayed, why would she?'
  6.
  7. He just stays silent, managing to pull his head away from his hands, resting his wrists on his thighs.
  8. "I thought she'd be different..."
  9.
  10. 'SHE'S not the problem, YOU are. You're a worthless fucking moron, when the hell will you learn that and STOP TRYING?! You aren't going to be happy, you stupid fucking. Idiot.'
  11.
  12. "Quiet..." Blitz spoke up.
  13.
  14. 'You're never going to find love, when will you learn that? Instead of even thinking about trying, you should just give up. You're a waste of time, space and oxygen, the world would be better off without you.'
  15.
  16. "I said be quiet, dammit. I've already lost everything, I don't need YOU talking to me."
  17.
  18. Blitz let out a deep sigh, lying back onto the bed and staring up at the ceiling, his phone ringing, it being his close otter-cat friend, Adam, who was... An odd person at best, he just seemed worried, his 'Good friend' senses going off, apparently.
  19.
  20. "'Blitz! You okay? I just saw your fiancée drive past with everything packed up.'"
  21.
  22. "... I.... I'm fine, Adam, just.... I need some time alone, some time to think.... Some time to.... Redecorate." Blitz hung up before lying back down, and staring at the ceiling until he fell asleep.
  23.
  24. He awoke the next morning to his phone's alarm going off, giving a groan as he turned it off and sat up... Only for him to realize the events of last night weren't some kind of horrid nightmare, and that it had all happened, she was most likely back in [REDACTED] by now, leaving him alone.
  25.
  26. He knew, deep down, it was his fault, no matter how much he wanted to blame her for how he was feeling.... He never was particularly nice to her friends and he wasn't a very good listener, no matter how hard he tried to change for her, he couldn't, even though he wanted to, because he loved her more than anything else in the world.
  27.
  28. After getting dressed, he gave a sigh as he locked up his house, just going on a walk, they had always made him feel better, gave him time to think... But, well, perhaps thinking wasn't exactly what he needed, as the more he thought, the more he hated himself.
  29.
  30. He had decided to just stop by a local Café, checking through his phone, other than a blizzard of worried texts from Adam, there was nothing, he was effectively alone again, and nothing was going to change that.
