- This app is an implementation of a Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs) using Google Nearby and the Scalable Video Codec (SVC). The purpose of this app is for conducting an experiment to see if transmitting video opportunistically is viable in rural settings where network availability might be sporadic or completely absent.
- For research purposes, basic data is collected for each participant in the experiment. This includes and is limited to the model of the participant's phone and participant's e-mail address. Choosing to share the email address is optional and can be denied when the runtime Android Permission for Contacts access is requested by the application.
- The data will be anonymised and used by the above team only for analysing the contacts between each device. The data will not be shared or transmitted with any other party.
- All the data collected by this app can be found in the VectorsLogs/ and VectorsData/ folder in the device's Internal Storage partition.
