Kaleina was born and raised with a silver spoon in her mouth, metaphorically speaking, as she was brought up in a status holding household. Therefore, she was pampered with a luxurious lifestyle that only required her to hone her skills in magic, art, music, and literature. By no means a prodigy in any particular craft, Kaleina was an ordinary elven girl. Having never felt any passion for much of anything, although she loved art, she was too lazy to work and become a great artist; although she loved learning, her mind always wandered too freely to hold much of anything. <br><br>

This, given normal circumstances would not have mattered for her. Still in her twenties, a mere babe in the eye's of an elf, she would be forced into a less than favorable situation. Marriage, and to whom? Some geezer, a diplomat wanting to make good with Kaleina's own tribe in the distasteful ways the elders often conducted their "negotiations". It was in one word, unacceptable. The elf having yet to travel passed the outskirts of the village she was born to would be meant to leave it, betrothed to a man she did not know nor love. What fate was that?<br><br>

It was at that point that Kaleina challenged fate, she left the village. With only the clothes on her back, the elf set off into a world unknown.
