Envy

Minor cuts and scraps were given to Salem from Haru's attacks though nothing minor. She hoisted up the ookami over her shoulder while his blood dripped around her body from his back and the missing left arm, staining her cloths with his blood. She knew Sophia Ryozo was a scientist there for Loranthis. She might have some fun with Haru's beaten, bloodied body. Salem of course wanted to help with the experiments, whatever they were.

Making her way slowly through Loranthis with the ookami on her, Salem wondered where Sophia could have been causing Salem to angrily wonder around the city searching for her. She had dropped Haru to the ground, making sure to hit his head to prevent him from waking up yet, setting him in the grass near a home and ran around searching. Once she discovered the way to the lab, she had grabbed Haru by his right wrist, dragging him across the ground and traveling to the lab where the experiements took place, or so she thought.

Approaching, she had a sadistic smirk on her face and picked up the ookami since dragging him seemed to slow her down, annoying her greatly. There she approached the blood magi, looking up at her rather annoyed. "Of all the damn letters you sent. What do you want, Sophia? To be friends? Well here, I brought you a present." Salem threw Haru at her feet and pulled the bag from her back, digging through with her only hand and pulling out his ryozo eye, tossing it to her for her to catch.

"I know Shinra took your brother's. I took Haru's. Here you go." She spoke with a tone that seemed she had been amused, though Salem had been less than that. She stared at Sophia, then down to Haru and shook her head. "Stupid, persistant, dumb dog. Go ahead and do what you want with him in your experiments, if he dies, give me his body, Vindictus could make use for it."

She was walking out of the lab with book in her hand, noting everything she did in it, not sparing the details, clearly enjoying them, knowing how much pain she gave to both Saiya and Liluna. She was about to cross the Facilities gate when she heard someone approaching.

Her eyes narrowed only to widen in shock and with wicked smile appearing on her face, reasembling her shock and joy of seeing two figures she recognized, though both with an issue at first. Chuckling loudly the book was closed just as she listened to Salem, giving her full attention before using her blood aura to catch the eye, making it glow once touching her blood, nodding firmly as she now knew it was still functional and usable.

She then looked towards one she had with herself, approaching them with her arms widening as if for a hug, just as she spoke, her voice vibrating with depravity and madness.

 "Ahh Salem, years and years I waited to see you, my my, you changed alot for much better I see, I envy you, you know? Such beautiful body and shape, the determination."  she giggled with her entire body moving in odd spasming way as if to reflect her enthusiasm and twisting envy towards the girl before her...ahh the intoxinating desire to aquire what they had for themselves, knowing she couldn't do it.

It felt amazing to her, though before she would have moved on with it her mind snapped to place upon remembering theree was someone with her, forcing her to clear her throat before smirking.  "Give him here, oh another subject to work over, this will be nice. I am amazed and believe me...once my current subject is done for you will get the body, guess who I managed to catch and cut~ she said with inhuman, and abnormal pride in her voice., pausing before adding after a dramatic moment.

"Lilunas love, yes the very same woman she tried to leave me and Haru for, oh and I made the damned ookami watch as me and Nicholaus, my fellow scientist carve them open, hand and arm away, then skull to see the brain and finally... she takes a deep breath before speaking again.  "The face, I took her face Salem, I got it and I used it for a mask!" she said before starting to laugh.

Salem glanced up to Sophia as chuckled but Salem wasn't amused, no, she was annoyed by the laughter, rolling her eyes while Sophia approached, arms out wide for a hug. Salem put up her hand, pausing her to stop. She could tell Sophia was different than before, but that didn't bother Salem a bit and Sophia would recognize the way Salem has changed lately through personality and appearance. Salem crossed her arms and looked around at the large building. The left side of Salem's face had been scared from the time Gorandis smashed her head into glass in the desert and Salem's left hand was missing.

Salem hadn't cared much for Sophia's experiments, even if she wanted to view them for herself, Salem had other places to be. She had left the manor a mess, her family was yet to be seen by her after months, causing her to initially leave the manor. Vindictus was out and about though Salem couldn't care for his whereabouts either. Eventually she would find him and manipulate him to do her dirty work; it had been a game of controlling, even if he failed to protect her. She would use his words to her advantage of devoting his life for Salem. That would be for later, for now her tone of voice of voice bitter, irreverent, and snappy to Sophia's obvious state of madness.

"Change, ya ya, I went through a lot, who cares. Envy me all you want, take Haru already and get this mutt out of my face before I decide to kill him this time. He's lucky to be alive, maybe. Liluna I didn't care for either, even back at the Radiant Dawn. I would enjoy their bodies handed back, as I said, they are for Vindictus, my shield who had devoted his damned life to me trying to show me love.

I pity him and his soft side. After your brother raped me, abused me, and tied me down for half a year, I gave up, but something sparked in me. I changed and I'm damn well glad I did too! Your experiments sound brutal, disgusting, and uninteresting. You need to find something better to do with them besides just wearing someone's face as a mask, Sophia." She shook her head, looking away annoyed.

Salem let out a sigh, her tone of voice now lower and her facial expression showed she was pissed. "How about I go find some more people to bring down and drag them to you? If you envy me so damn much, you can help. I don't give a shit. People will know my damn name and fear me, especially those in the Radiant Dawn. For my bounty, I plan to hunt down each member and DISMEMEBER them, or bring them to you for that, who knows. What do you say?" Salem looked directly at Sophia, staring at her rather irate with an unamused expression.

Sophias eyes widened upon hearing Salem, soon extending her arms to grab Haru with herself with a smile before nodding and responding towards Salem offer, one that reminded idea she was going to prospose to them, soon laughing and fianlly deciding to respond.

 "More subjects? More test objects yes, yes yes...oh yes! bring them and results will be shared with you Salem, the powers unlocked with their sacrifice...also Dawn...I planned to hunt them down and offer this idea to you and Vindictus, I am glad to hear you share the desire to bring them down, I will be more than willing to join." she said with a wink.
