  1. Laws of Huangzhou
  2. 1. Murder: taking a life with the pure intention of doing. Penalty of execution.
  3. 1.1. Self defense leading to death is exempt of this.

  5. 2. Assault: physical, mental or magical assaulting another citizen or non-enemy foreigner. Penalty of light, public physical punishment and jail time of two months (1 IRL day).
  6. 2.1. Cases of self defense are exempt.
  7. 2.2. Aggravated Assault: when serious, lasting injury is made, the penalty is a public whipping or equivalent method of physical punishment. The intensity is equivalent to the injury caused by the guilty party(ies).
  8. 2.3. Sexual Assault: when the assault has a sexual nature, the penalty is public castration.

  10. 3. Misconduct: to publicly conduct or engage in unacceptable speech or improper actions. Penalty of a warning and, in case of repeated incidence, serving time in jail.
  11. 3.1. Sexually Suggestive Misconduct: when the conduct involves sexual activity, the penalty is public whipping, branding, or execution, according to the severity of the act.
  12. 3.2 Obstruction of Justice: to obstruct justice, whether standing in defense of a culprit or mouthing off in the face of official tribunal or fourfold business can result in a fine, jailtime, or other punishment as seen fit of the tribunal depending on the severity.

  14. 4. Public Occultism: while the practice of the occult is not illegal, it must be limited to private environments or to the dojo. Penalty of a warning and, in case cooperation is lacking, a light public punishment.
  15. 4.1. If the occultist understands and seeks out aid, they are to be directed to the Illuminated Order for treatment.
  16. 4.2. Fourfold Officers utilizing the occult arts while on the act of performing an arrest or engaging a criminal are exempt from this law.

  18. 5. Forbidden Races: the Oscuri, Neries, Demons, Vampires and Accursed are not allowed presence in Huangzhou territory. Oscuri and Neries, regardless of reason or context for their presence are to be arrested.
  19. 5.1. Use your judgment when performing arrests. If you think you cannot win, seek a group or an authority figure.
  20. 5.2. Oscuri and Neries who are captured will be serving time for seven months (3 IRL days) to renounce their deities and religion under surveillance and assistance from the Illuminated Order.
  21. 5.3 Individuals of these races may be granted a temporary presence, with the written, documented permission of the Chancellor, Leader of the Tribunal, Shogun, and Imperial Counselor of the Illuminated.

  23. 6. Forbidden Arts: chaos magi and sinners are not allowed presence in Huangzhou territory. Conduct is for immediate arrest. As per the Item 5.1, use your judgment when performing arrests. The penalty for the forbidden arts is either cleansing, if the guilty party is potentially redeemable, or execution.

  28. 8. Breaking and entering: the act of entering a building by force so as to trespass or to commit burglary. If proven guilty the punishment is to pay a compensating fee to be determined by the Tribunal Member in charge of the case, with added penalties in the case that theft has occurred.
  29. 9. Theft: the act of stealing someone’s possession from their house or private chests. If proven guilty the punishment is to pay a compensating fee equivalent of the value of the item(s) stolen upon evaluation from the Tribunal Member taking care of the case with an additional jail sentence of two months (1IRL day)
  30. 9.1. Robbery: theft with the aggravation of assault is punishable according to entry 2, with the addition of the financial fee evaluated by the Tribunal Member according to the possession(s) that have been stolen.

  32. 10. Alchemical Misconduct: as per rule 3 consuming certain potions or reagents in public that may cause issues of misconduct will warrant a fine or other punishment as seen fit by the tribunal if purposely taken, regardless if any misconduct occurs.
  33. 10.1 Lust Potion: the consumer will be asked to neutralize the potion with another type immediately and if incapable will be escorted off the premises by a fourfold or tribunal officer until the effects wear off.
  34. 10.2 Rage Potion: the consumer will be asked to neutralize the potion with another type immediately and if incapable will be escorted off the premises by a fourfold or tribunal officer until the effects wear off. A tribunal or fourfold officer is allowed to temporarily jail a consumer if they cannot control their anger.
  35. 10.3 Invisibility Potion: the use of invisibility potions for spying purposes on official fourfold and tribunal matters is illegal and will dictate a fine or jailtime depending on the severity of the matter spied upon
  36. 10.4 Mandrake Potion: the consumer will be asked to control their voice and if incapable will be asked to leave the premises until the effects of the potion wears off. Refer to Rule 3 (misconduct) as this can present a severe issue.
  37. 10.5 Psychedelic consumption: citizens who consume pure fairy powder, soothing reed or sinka to get a 'high' or 'booster' will face a fine by a fourfold or tribunal member and repeated offenses will result in rehabilitation with the Illuminated order.
