  12. "Your kind bring nothing but destruction and corruption, all lands want demons destroyed, especially my home. So it shall be done." (short post so we can move)

  17. [09:13] Erlen stepped forward alongside the Razuka, pulling his own weapon out. There was a flicker of orange glimmering at the tip of his staff, which soon spread to envelop the whole weapon.

  19. "After all the destruction your kind wrought, we don't plan to let you walk off."
  20.  
  21. The fire snaked over the pyromancer's form. Erlen pointed the tip of his weapon at Eugo, raising it above his head. His feet spread a bit wider, and the cadet took on a better stance.

  23. "Come, beast."

  27. [09:17] Eugo had very little patients for the long winded speeches of these people the Razuka's pulling out of her arms meant that battle was going to ensue, And Eugo wasted little time to hear out their calls just to satisfy their Hero's vanity in watching his downfall.

  29. The Dark Shaman had no intentions of dying here had he needed to protect himself he would. Obsidian darkness was woven into the area, The cavern shook as they were deep underground the demon moving forwards to engage the Fire Magi first.

  31. A series of chaotic bursts of occultism would be the signal that the battle had just begun.

  40. [09:42] Battle wasn't something Eugo was often privy to, However with the raid of the Dreadwoods there had been an instincts within him that had been burning, Desiring to learn more of the true horrors that combat has to offer.

  42. He could no longer stay a recluse amongst the demons after all. Flames against shadows the battle between Eugo and Erlen was one to bare great witness to. Fire shooting towards the demon only to be countered as the demon evaporates into intangible shadows. The explosions vanishing against its skin.

  44. Dark Runes hung in the skies above one by one they channeled essence into them before Eugo ignited them into his spells. Black Thorns made from occultism pierced into Elren's skin, followed by a barrage of claws that aimed to shred and slice into his flesh.

  46. As the Pyromancer would propel himself forwards with flames Eugo would be waiting for that moment. As soon as he dashed towards him Eugo would suddenly appear behind him, Occultism formed into an umbral claw as he slashed down into Elren's form,

  48. The blow shattering into him, Giving him no moment of rests essence was gathered once more and shot towards him resulting in an explosion of Dark Power. The Pyromancer was strong but somehow Eugo had begun to overcome him...even if it was slightly.

  50. "I wanted nothing more than to gather rocks, Yet your bloodlust drove you to attack me. Who is the real monster in this scenario?" The demon claimed as he pulled Elren up from the battle field. Rocks had already begun to shake loose from the cavern as their battle in the Mine seemed to nearly cause a cave in.

  52. "You aren't wrong. I am A demon to be despised. But your people have caused numerous atrocities Its so amusing to me that you believe you have the right to vanquish me. You're nothing more than a pawn just like the Barsburg cogs..." An unsatisfied grimace was sprawled on the demons face. His skin still charred from the powerful bursts of explosive plasma and flames.

  54. "Being human must be such a burden....Then here. A mark that will show you how brave you were in fighting me." The boy's arm was grabbed, Occultic runes written in the ancient words of demons seared into his skin before tossing him aside.

  56. This scenario was only a showing of the place Demonkind had been, Eugo realized even more the reason why he strives to become stronger. Not only for his own desires...But for that of his people as well. The demon's claws pierce into his own skin black blood oozing from his veins as he looks dissatisfied…

  58. "I'm still too weak to compare to them...." He murmured as he moved to escape.

  62. [09:52] It wasn't the first time Erlen had faced a demon - he'd encountered smaller fellblooded before, during the battle of Starfall, yet never anything of this size and strength. The Pyromancer gripped his staff closer, staring at the beast. The narrow nature of the caverns meant that he'd have to carry the brunt of the the fighting, even with Twilly nearby. Even so, Erlen steadied himself, leaned forward, then attacked.

  64. Flame shot out from his staff, aimed at the creature's form. Sometimes it made contact, at others it merely met shadows as the Demon dissipated, to attack from another angle.
  65.  
  66. It was not an opponent Erlen could say he'd fought before. Battling a Kaor was a very different experience, and the sheer confusion of their environ only added to the difficulty. Occultic blasts seared into the Cadet, dark runes that channeled down from the ceiling, thorns that gripped into his skin - it was hell.
  67.  
  68. And yet, he pressed on.
  69.  
  70. Erlen charged, perhaps in a misguided attempt to finish the creature quickly. He wound up only burning up rock, as Eugo himself disappeared, only to return from behind to slash at the cadet with an umbral claw.
  71.  
  72. "Hagh!" He couldn't stop himself from crying out at the impact, but only turned to find himself lifted. Claws gripped at his armor, and for a moment, there was a look of panic in his eyes.
  73.  
  74. "I-" Flame shot out from him, in an attempt to force the Demon away, yet Erlen could do nothing before Eugo had already scrawled... something, into his flesh.
  75.  
  76. Even so, it seemed Eugo didn't wish to dawdle any longer. The curse was but a parting gift, and Erlen was tossed off to the side when the Demon turned to escape.
  77.  
  78. He lay there, trying to breathe, to get his bearings. The creaking of stone forced him from his near-stupor, and the youth clawed his way to his feet.
  79.  
  80. Erlen glanced this way and that, finding no sign of the beast. The Demon was long gone, by now.
  81.  
  82. "Fuck." There was little he could say. Erlen gripepd his staff, then steadied himself against the cave wall, before taking a few, slow steps away, back to the light.
