Privacy Policy — TypeGG Goal Tracker

To fetch stats, the extension asks the user for their TypeGG username and an API key, which the user generates in their TypeGG account settings. The key is stored locally in the user’s browser and is sent only to the official TypeGG API (api.typegg.io) to authenticate requests for the user’s stats and for public stats of other players used in goals (for example, rival or leaderboard goals). The user can replace or remove the key at any time in the extension’s Account settings.

The extension does not collect, store, or send any personal information, browsing history or usage data. All goals, settings and the API key are stored locally on the user’s device using localStorage and IndexedDB. Exported backups contain goals and settings only, never the API key.

No data is transferred to the developer, to third parties, or to any server other than the official TypeGG API.
