  1. [Jace's mind is interesting to be within, a deep well of thought and texture that spirals deeper and deeper, vast and looming like an Orzhov cathedral. But Kallist is part of it now, so taking control isn't entirely out of the question...]
  2.
  3. [It's fascinating in here, that's for sure. Massive and daunting. Where would he even start? And does he want to? Jace would probably just get upset if he tried... But what's the alternative? He wanders about, getting a better ley of his head before he makes a decision]
  4.
  5. [With enough focus, their shared mind manifests in a startlingly physical-seeming way; a vast, vaulted building full of scrolls and books, though many of the shelves are empty and their contents torn and scattered on the dusty floor. Part of the building has what looks like a second building smashed haphazardly into it, stone merged into stone at an awkward angle and jutting from walls and floor. This second building contains racks and cabinets neatly stocked with armour and weapons, some polished bright and others old and dulled.]
  6.
  7. [Huh... It's bizarre seeing what the internal workings of a mind would look like physically. This definitely looks like a place he'd come up with, and he feels comfortable here, safe. Less lost. It's a little concerning to see how it's jammed right into Jace's thoughts, though. But whose fault is that? He does have a foothold here. How would he start to impose his will? And does he even want to? This is hard... He misses having his own body...]
  8.
  9. [The halls of Jace's mind are vast, shifting in lighting, temperature, and scent as his thoughts change and he observes the world around them; the dusty tickle of the chamber is replaces with the sharp green of crushed leaves as he presumably still tromps through the Dominarian forest they found themselves in, followed by a powerful whiff of sandalwood and an eerie blue cast as he must be using his powers; flashes of memory belonging to someone who must be an elf confirm it, then vanish as he discards his victim and moves on. The main source seems to be a small room tucked behind a bookshelf, which contains a tiny glass case full of even more books, a mirror displaying what he's currently seeing (a small village in the wood), and a glowing blue glass orb cradled in a delicate golden stand.]
  10.
  11. [He steps into that room; this must be it, the direct control... or something. He shudders as he sees what happens through the mirror, seeing Jace harassing some random elf. Just what is he about to do here? He quietly prays that there isn't a planeswalker here... He's terribly curious despite himself, carefully trying to open the case...]
  12.
  13. [It clocks open fairly easily, revealing its contents in the form of several small but richly-decorated books. If opened, they recount Jace's most precious memories, most of which involve Kallist himself. A couple near the bottom of the case are very, very deteriorated, only producing puffs of emotion and the barest flickers of memory; one only contains the ring-and-line symbol emblazoned on his cloak and nothing else. The mirror is currently showing Jace abandoning the village, apparently having uncovered the signs of a larger city nearby from his memory plunder.]
  14.
  15. [It's... very flattering, to see that most of Jace's cherished memories are about him. He just wish it wasn't driving him to possibly hurt others... He carefully puts the books away just as he found them. Now, there's the issue of that orb... He hvers his hand over it, wanting to touch it but afraid of what happens if he does]
  16.
  17. [Even ghosting his hands near it produces an interesting sensation, like someone almost touching the back of one's neck, but not quite. Jace has stopped in the real world, his mental voice ringing out softly from the glass.] "Kallist....?"
  18.
  19. [Oh, fuck. That brought a physical sensation... Jerking this thing around might be a bad idea... though if he wants to grab control... this would probably be the way to do it] 'Yeah?"
  20.
  21. "What are you doing...? You went quiet, and that..." [He pauses for a second] "What are you touching in there...?"
  22.
  23. 'Nothing.' [he backs out of the room slowly, hoping that Jace can't tell where he's been] 'Just... got lost.*'
  24.
  25. "Just.... be careful. Even I can get lost in someone's mind easily. I don't want to lose you." [There is a very brief sensation of being watched, but it fades soon after, Jace moving on once more]
