  1. It's been quite long since I have been wanting to own a modified Subaru. I fell in love with the builds around 6 years ago, when I was I think IDADE, where back in Brazil I found out about youtube and I would spend hours making researches about the cars etc, because there was no other way of getting in touch with one but the internet, because they're -quite- rare in my home country. So, when I got the chance to get my hands on one I didn't think twice and I purchased it. I'm not wanting to build a track car with 1000hp, nor a daily driver with super liablity, my goal is to get somewhat around 450-550 horsepower, making it as a weekend driver, moreless. For that reason, I'm swapping the turbo with a quite bigger one, which I don't think it would be much of a pain for the engine because I've seen quite similar builds on these engines with stock internals and modified manifolds, etc, and removing the stock speed limiter, of course. And that's mt intention. To replace the stock downpipe with a custom one, new manifold, new exhaust system, I'm also installing a new EC Unit to monitore the turbo's boost and install a 2-step system for that extra acceleration boost, a new Mishimoto intercooler, tires and coilovers for improved handling (which I will be performing later on) and some more less important stuff which, although, should give the car that tiny bit more liability and pleasure to the drive, that being a heat shield for the turbo and exhaust manifold and octane booster, which I have bought a pretty large stack so I can have all the extra octane everytime I fill up my gas tank.
