- She made to move down the stairs, but was stopped at the entrance of the stairwell, where now stood Samus with an unconscious Bowser slung over her shoulder.
- “Oh, hey,” she said, her façade of enjoyment now dropped. “Told them I could drink this lizard under the table. You need through?”
- “No, actually, I was just coming to collect him myself.”
- “Feel like helping?”
- “I would but… I’m not sure how much assistance I could give.”
- Sheik moved up the stairs, keeping the route clear for Samus, who despite her prodigious strength was clearly struggling somewhat to haul this massive creature. And when they made it to the upstairs hallway, doors on either side leading towards inn rooms, Sheik did her part and held the door open so Samus could squeeze in and drop Bowser’s limp body onto the cot against the far wall. Sheik pushed the room’s second cot up next to him, so he wouldn’t fall off.
