  1. Name: Queen Mab
  2. Class: Berserker
  3. Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  4.
  5. Identity:
  6. Berserker's True Name is Queen Mab. A queen of the Fair Folk mentioned in Shakespeare's works, said to be the "fairies' midwife" who brings dreams to mortals. She has also been equated to Medb, though the authenticity of such a connection is in question.
  7.
  8. In this instance, while it can't honestly be said that she is the same being as Medb, it also can't be said that she is wholly different, and her appearance and personality have strong similarities.
  9.
  10. Legend:
  11. A queen of Fairies who has dwelt in the Reverse Side of the World since the Age of Man begun and has lived for over a thousand years. Her playful disposition has led her countless times to the mortal world, where she delivers mortals unexpected dreams.
  12.
  13. She is filled with a childlike love and fascination towards mortal humans, and in contrast to those of the older age who wholly sequester themselves from the world, loves to spirit away both people and trinkets. Though those mortals carried away to the Reverse Side of the World were quickly warped, altered by the preponderance of magical energy, her treasures, ranging from childrens' toys to lost British crown jewels, remain hidden away in a verdant palace.
  14.
  15. Naturally, as one of the fae folk, she is terribly perilous, though all sorts of means to trick her exist. Cold iron can harm her, even in the hands of an ordinary person, and she cannot break the terms of a sworn oath. Furthermore, she will always respect a story that has reached a satisfying ending, and allow its 'characters' to live their days in peace. Finally, as a mischievous creature who breaks the rules of the World by straying into a world that has left her kind in the past, she cannot allow her existence to be demonstrated, so as to preserve her Mystery, though this restriction is waived so long as she is in the role of a Servant.
  16.
  17. Appearance:
  18. Mab possesses a goddess-like, perfect body since birth, though the effect is rather spoiled by her usual diminutive stature of around a centimetre tall. She possesses long, faded pink hair that reaches her knees and keen hazel eyes, and is rarely seen without a childish, innocent smile. On her back are the wings of a dragonfly, and she dresses in ornate, beautiful but dated courtly dresses woven of finest spider's silk. She's rarely seen at all, but even less so without her carriage made of an empty hazelnut, driven by a gnat-fairy.
  19.
  20. She's quite capable of taking on a human's stature, though prefers to shrink down mortals to her own size.
  21.
  22. Personality:
  23. A pure, innocently carefree and playful maiden. Simultaneously, a wicked, carelessly cruel maiden who is a hedonist. Both are her true faces, and neither are a lie. It is simply that she has no common sense, and does not adhere to the morals or values of humans. She loves clever people, and people who think in unexpected ways! She especially loves those who outwit her! Though even such people always become dull after becoming her toys - how tragic...
  24.
  25. For a faerie who has lived for a thousand years, the greatest enemy is boredom, and so while seeding and harvesting beautiful dreams in the minds of men, she will toy with or steal those most entertaining to her. She has no interest in war or conquest, and finds the dreams of soldiers boorish, but nonetheless conducts herself as royalty and expects to be spoiled rotten.
  26.
  27. In other words, she is a spoiled, girlish queen with a stubborn yet fickle temperament, though unlike Queen Medb, romance and passion are but a single game, to be picked up and put down at her whim.
  28.
  29. Wish from the Grail: None. Instead, she'd probably just give it to an amusing mortal to see what would happen.
  30.
  31. Parameters
  32. ----------
  33. Strength - C (+-0)
  34. Endurance - D (+-0)
  35. Agility - B (-75)
  36. Mana - A+ (-160)
  37. Luck - EX (-360)
  38. Noble Phantasm - A+ ()
  39.
  40. Class Skills
  41. ------------
  42. Fey Whimsy - A (+150)
  43. A skill that takes the place of Mad Enhancement. Luck and Mana are raised by two ranks and other parameters by one. However, due to a lack of human values or any sort of common sense, mutual understanding is impossible. Without the use of Command Spells, any mortal Master is but a plaything.
  44.
  45. Personal Skills
  46. ---------------
  47. Golden Rule (Body + Wealth) - A (-50)
  48. First, the Servant possesses a natural and perfect, goddess-like body, though this is simply a trifling thing. Of a faerie queen, nothing else would be expected. Second, a vast hoard of treasure has accumulated in her possession over the millennia, though this is another trifling thing. Rather than coinage, the skill represents innumerable trinkets and heirlooms lost to the mortal world through faerie mischief. Or rather, would it be better to call it simple thievery?
  49.
  50. Marble Phantasm - EX (-400)
  51. The ability of an Elemental being to connect their will to nature. It can be considered to be an ability comparable to transcendent luck, efficiently guaranteeing a minutely improbable outcome again and again to the extent of creating large-scale phenomena.
  52.
  53. Mystic Eyes - A (-85)
  54. Mab has possession of Mystic Eyes of a high level. She may entrance those with weak mental resistance with a single glance and lead them astray, muddle their memories or perception, or convince them they are truly asleep and the world they are experiencing is a dream.
  55.
  56. Presence Concealment - C (-60)
  57. Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying, though in Mab's case, it's more applicable to tricks and pranks. The rank of Presence Concealment drops considerably when preparing to attack, though Mab might not agree on what's considered an 'attack'.
  58.
  59. Shapeshift - A (-55)
  60. Whether a dragonfly or a dragon, "shapeshifting" is natural to this faerietale trickster. Though the abilities of actual mythological beings can't be replicated, this isn't really a disadvantage for the Queen of Dreams.
  61.
  62. Noble Phantasms
  63. ---------------
  64. A Midsummer Night's Dream - A+ (-180)
  65. Type: Anti-World Noble Phantasm
  66. Range: 1-99
  67. Targets: 1
  68. ------------------------
  69. A technique infinitely close to a Reality Marble that far surpasses modern magecraft, this is nothing less than an enchantment that recalls the marvels of the Age of Faeries. It is a wonder of the faeries that intermingles the layers of the World, allowing the Reverse Side of the World to briefly be materialised through the medium of dream.
  70.
  71. Through drawing out the dreams and imagination of an entranced or sleeping mortal, their dreams and wishes may be fully superimposed upon the world within a Bounded Field. Servants may also be targeted, but the effect must overcome mental resistance and barriers, and Queen Mab will not materialise deadly nightmares or the spiteful dreams of evildoers. Power is increased in proportion to the imagination and vision of the target. Those possessing skills such as Pioneer of the Stars, or inventor heroes, may produce amazing results... provided their visions have not already become commonplace in the modern age.
  72.
  73. Activation without recourse to a mortal's dreams is also possible, but in this case range is significantly decreased and the degree of effect is lowered by two ranks. Furthermore, Queen Mab will likely quickly grow bored with her creation.
  74.
  75. While its nature can overwhelm mortals or lead them astray, drawing them into the setting of the dream, this Noble Phantasm is as ephemeral as any dream, and will be banished by the noonday sun or the dreamer's wakening. If even those should fail, Mab may be convinced to return a plaything by the invocation of a suitable binding contract, and true love's kiss will always awaken a dreamer from their slumber.
  76.
  77. Environments and items created by the dream will usually disappear, but alterations and transformations to existing things and people may persist, if so desired.
