the bases

Abalone Bay is a pirate role play that is fully dedicated and friendly, a community of roleplayers and artists gather here to spin massively epic-level tales via a collaborative storytelling that takes place on both site and IMVU's 3D client. Players create in-depth characters and write out their character's adventures as posts in the roleplaying forum and the client (“post by post”).

Abalone Bay is a pirate role play where majority of the role play takes place on the Seas of Ara's.Sea of Ara's can become violent without warning. Storms, some magical in nature, occasionally spring up on the Ara's Sea and eventually travel to shores of Port Orloff and Afaregon, where their destructive power causes great damage. The sea is also home to abundant animal life, including magical creatures and a few water-dwelling Horrors. Reports of these dreadful creatures are few and far between, but those who journey on the Ara's Sea should know that even crossing the waters requires caution.

Its rival kingdom Afaregon is bent on seeing Abalone's utter destruction. There is a main story line with many interwoven plots that form the side roleplays. Character creation is simple and we have an amazing group that will be more than happy to assist you getting started in no time.
