TEST RUN - COLONY RP

The roleplay is centered on a group of colonists under temporal stasis sent by the International Space Exploration and Colonization Effort, or the ISECE for short. They are some of the top members of the organisation's Colonial Settlers. The degree of customization on this roleplay is high, but it is far less sandbox than other roleplays.

In the Second World War, the fascist powers of the world worked together to forge the ultimate miracle weapon. Rather than harnessing the power of the atom for the manipulation of space, they used it to manipulate time. How? After the fall of Cairo and the invasion of the Mesopotamic area, the fascist powers encountered ancient technology buried deep beneath the Fertile Crescent. A power that colonial forces did not find, and could not exploit. They had no interest in doing so. Only in utter desperation could they find this cache, and with it, they managed to turn the tide.

The temporal research they developed was too weak to be turned into an effective weapon. But it did affect living beings. With this, they turned the tide of the war, and founded the New Order, as a replacement of the League of Nations, with them at the head of it. They took the decisions in the world now.

Following their triumph, both public and political interest lied in outer space. They no longer had anything to conquer, anything to expand to, so this was the logical conclusion. And they were guaranteed to find something of interest, as that technology could not have been human. It must've come from beyond.

And so, the ISECE was born. In order to find more about where this alien technology came from, they sent out expeditions and missions to other worlds. The closest ones, after a few decades, sent back reports of similar technology in these planets. The ISECE linked them with the surging of life, and so, named this "Imperium." Because they're fascists.

This is your task: to find Imperium, and send information on it back to the ISECE, so that they may send a second team to retrieve it.

CHARACTER SHEET:

Name: Edgar 'Ed' Laine

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Appearance: Huge beefy, swollen mess of a brute. Pretty much an oversized man that easily towers over anyone that he comes by. Hair is clean shaven and bald, doesn't really have a pretty face.

Light brown eyes, crooked and wrenched nose. Missing a few teeth.

Background: Edgar wasn't exactly a good apple. In fact, he was part of a notorious biker gang that went around the city shooting up in the skies, being obnoxious, and all that other stuff biker gangsters do. One day however, Edgar ended up steering his vehicle a little too hard into the wall and hit his head a little hard. Life was never the same.

Edgar never really found out (or remembered) why, but since then he's developed ridiculous muscles. He's a bit dopey and slow though. Because being concussed sucks.
