  1. ■ Character Name: Monifa
  2. ■ Character Race: Half-Gaint (Giachas)
  3. ■ Character Age: 27
  4.
  5. ■ Where are they from (what Nationality)? Where were their parents from (and, if they're not from the same nation, how did they meet)? Where was your character raised (what nation, and what city/village/region)?
  6.
  7. Monifa is originally from the Black Kingdoms near the Amazonian tribes, pretty standard for the Giacha race, but they had been enslaved by the Amazons in a raid. Originally just being trained in the standard affairs to learn housekeeping and dance, Monifa had very little will and was for the most part easy to break down and taken in. The Amazons would build them back up into something new, alongside the name Monifa, her past name seemingly forgotten much like her old life.
  8.
  9. ■ What kind of upbringing did they have? Were they wealthy or poor? Were their parents tradesmen? Farmers? Nobility? How did that influence your character's view on the world, and on other people (both those that were better-off than themselves, and those who were worse off)?
  10.
  11. As a child, she grew up with her own people, learning the dances of which they expressed everything from life, to death to good fortunes and those less fortunate. She spent time tending the home, cleaning and generally have a bit of a freer care. It is however the very fact this tribe did not fear many, that would be her undoing in the Amazonian raid which took her prisoner. From her younger years on she was subjugated to abuse, with her life turning 180. Rather than being a dutiful stay-at-home, she was being trained and pushed to her mental, emotional and physical limits to become a warrior just like them. She was immensely pushed into the faith of Mdetis. This time however shifted and warped her, they destroyed the essence of her old home and radicalized her towards men and more importantly into a juggernaut of a weapon that could be used for Amazonia. Once she was considered ready, the shackles of being a slave were undone and she joined the tribe, though her past life still left a sour taste, one which would never make her truly an equal, but still on par with those not in slavery.
  12.
  13. This has overall led Monifa to become accepting of her new life, though still brews with a particular trauma that surges forth in the heat of combat.
  14.
  15. ■ What skills and talents does your character have? What are one or two things they're really good at? ■ What weaknesses does the
  16. character have? What character flaws do they possess that has influenced their lives, and the lives of those around them?
  17.
  18. Monifa is a skilled dancer like most of her kind due to their upbringing, but also under Amazonian rule where dance and wrestling are considered just as important. She, therefore, has particularly notable grace for her size, and being trained as a warrior without proper plate or chain has made her far more dexterous and nimble. Her weakness is in her fear of capture, to once again be joining that subjugation of another and start all over. The mind was once broken and enslaved and now the concept of it happening again sometimes swells into terror. Notably, Monifa is also one who craves the attention of others in a positive manner, seeming to be drawn to bringing it out of people, yet perhaps particularly cold when she feels they are failing to do so. A reserved nature when things go wrong.
  19.
  20.
  21. ■ What god(s) do they worship? How do they exhibit or demonstrate their faith?
  22. Tillie is a shamanist, and believes heavily their gift in witchcraft is a boon from the very faith it encompasses. Her craft and faith are one. She is very superstitious and believes everything is living though given her own firsthand experience of being a chicken who could turn into a human.
  23.
  24. She is a particularly devout follower of Mdetis. She feels strongly about keeping the god's approval due to the fear of the faith stricken into her, but also from their personality of needing others to find them agreeable. She does her best to keep up with the rituals and to bring down men, even going as far as to avoid befriending any form of man to any level.
  25.
  26. ■ What does your character look like? Describe them (ex: tall, short, skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, unusual scars/markings/features, etc - this should line up with their Nationality).
  27.
  28. She is massively tall in stature due to her race, and a darker tone of skin, with brown eyes. Her hair is black and kinky, pulled together into a ponytail in wrapped in animal skin to keep it clean and less likely to be caught on anything. Her tone is muscular, but not to the level you'd expect of a bulking warrior, one that is leaner comparatively. Her body is adorned in black tribal tattoos across her whole body, head to toe.
  29.
  30. ■ How would your character react to non-humans, like demons, tieflings, and shapeshifters?
  31.
  32. Humans: 5/5 - A race very similar to herself, just shorter! Feels they look up to her often, or at least the women. Enjoys their company. 2/5 if Male, does find them to be non-threat, but won't get close to them if possible.
  33.
  34. Fae-Blooded: 4.5/5, they are at one with nature and to some extent, they feel a closer bond to them for it. Their still somewhat human looks help keep them from being too intimidating.
  35.
  36. Tiefling: 2/5, Their demonic blood is untrusted, and they have strange intimidating appearances which upset her. To some extent thinks they are there to test her resolve more than anything else but may see them in salvation if things go south. Scoring goes up based on how terrible Monifa's life is going, up to a 4 max
  37.
  38. Half-Giant: 3.5/5 Their true kin, but ones they've been isolated from. The size is familiar and something they can enjoy out of all the giants out there, but they seem to be a bit warier after their upbringing.
  39.
  40. Goblins: 2.5/5, Small, smelly and devious with superiority complexes. They don't tend to trust these little things but also aren't nearly ready to slam them into the ground. Instant 0/5 if they sneak up on them though.
  41.
  42. Snakemen: 1/5 Does not trust or like the snakemen and their deceit as they had pushed into the black kingdoms and brought nothing good.
  43.
  44. Shapeshifters: 5/5 Non-predatory small shifters, 4/5 non-predatory medium shifters, 3/5 small predators/large non-predatory, 2/5 medium predators, 1/5 Large predators
  45.
  46. Vampire: 1.25/5, Terrible creatures. just outright has no real reason to like them.
  47.
  48. Werewolves: 1/5, considered a large predator shifter to them. Does not seem to really consider them unique from the others even if they are.
  49.
  50. Demon: 1/5, Finds them to just be worse tieflings. Scoring goes up based on how terrible Monifa's life is going, up to a 4 max
  51.
  52. Fae: Varies on height / The smaller the fey, the higher the relation, the taller the less. Scales from to 2 to 4. Finds their natures to be more natural and an extension similar to the Fae-blooded
  53.
  54. ■ What are their goals? (Short and long term)
  55.
  56. Monifa's goals in the short term are to make a home for themselves and reclaim their own sense of identity. Being away fro the Amazonians on this terrible new island alone can bring nightmares to them. They wish to save their mind and grow, to find a place of belonging, new sisters.
  57.
  58. In the long term, if she was still with those Sisters, she would aim to be their arm in protection and become a feared warrior among the island, a legend. If things went south, she may instead look to dabble into darker roots or at nature to look towards being a paragon above mortality, something apart of the bigger picture, a vanguard of ideas.
  59.
  60. Both ways hope to establish a woman-dominated society for the island and to ensure it is maintained. Whether she leads them or is at the side of leadership is yet to be determined.
