"The Truth Beyond The Truth"

I looked into her eyes,
And saw only beautiful lies,
But little did she understand,
Only the truth would suffice.

You were the only one that stopped the pain,
You fit me like a glove,
But in the end, I understood,
You hate what you love.
Square peg in a round hole,
Turns out, it’s not enough.
In the end, romance ain’t grand.
You hate what you love.
