- The Echo Lake trail is a gorgeous mountain hiking trail that's the perfect balance of wonderful views, and not being very difficult! It's located in a warm, lovely sunny climate, and it almost never rains more than a peaceful drizzle...
- Except today, apparently.
- Everyone out on the trail has been caught in a freak storm, heavier than anything this area has seen in decades. Your characters all run like headless chickens for shelter, and happen upon a small cabin in the middle of the woods.
- Well, when you put it like that, it seems like something out of a horror movie, but it really is a nice little cabin. Nothing spooky about it at all! Inside, you meet the owner, a lovely young woman named Static.
- ...When I say lovely, I'm exaggerating a little. She's nice enough, and lets you all stay until the storm passes, but she's just about the strangest person on the planet. Seems harmless, though.
- But the storm doesn't stop...

- Personality: A being of many talents, Mint's favorite pastime is drawing uncannily realistic portraits of people. She's just gifted at this, it's been a talent all her life. She's also naturally gifted at many other skills, including eating, sleeping, and playing the violin. Her neutral face always looks extremely sad, like she's permanently just learned that her favorite band broke up. Mint is very quiet and withdrawn, and is not one for easy conversation. However, it isn't difficult to get her to respond to you. She misses home very much, so perhaps there is a bit of truth to her perpetually sad expression.
