- So basically i have a few questions that have been bugging me for a while now - i wonder if someone could help me please?
- Question 1
- I have noticed that lot of people set their display username on high authority website forums as an anchor text backlink to their website. Ok so yes I have managed to achieve this on some websites where it gives you the option to
- add a website address in the profile, however i have a noticed a few sites that don't offer this yet loads of people still seem to do it. For example if you check the wocommerce sites blog comments, how have those people managed tho set their display name as a backlink??
- I have tried to work this out for ages- please help i am keen to learn.
- Question 2
- I have a licence to SEM Rush and i have noticed when tracking a lot of my competitors that they have several posts containing backlinks to high authority sites that are not on forum sites or any sites that offer any sort of commenting or even registration.
- When i follow the link they have created, it goes to a post on the backend of the site - usually an article with their backlinks incorporated into the keywords. My question is how do they achieve this ? I want to build my backlinks and also expand my knowledge, this has been annoying me for ages, can someone please explain.
- From spending ages at it - i think they are doing it by using RSS feeds, am a correct? How is this done?
- Kind Regards,
- Michael

- Click to expand...The second part sounds to me like it's just a guest post. Do you know what that is? When someone goes on another websites blog and they write their own post on someone else blog and then link back to their own. This great for SEO. This is the most powerful link you can have. And not easy to get. You have to be great at writing to get the high DA ones to accept your post.
- Some sites do it for free and some sites will charge you for the post(link).
- Hi, thanks for the reply, no this is something very different - guest posts are basic, this is advanced - these sites do not offer any sort of guest posts or registration yet these guys have posted articles with backlinks onto them
- It's probably the same thing but in page format. People pay for links on high DA page as well!

- What do you mean page format, can you please explain? also yes i know i have bought some links in the past and the company sent me the link address's which were styled like the ones that i saw in my competitors through sem rush. I want to know how hey do this - ie get the blogs / articles onto these random high authority sites that are all over the world?

- They just contact them in different ways like the contact forms or their email addresses.
- There are two kinds of content you can create. There are blogs and then there are pages. Pages are pretty much the same thing as a post but has some different features. Many times they don't have any comments and have difference purpose. Pages are most meant for long time permanent content.

- Isn’t that Buddypress? can you view source and see if that’s wordpress? the user thumb looks familiar. BP allows posts and profile pages, depending on their settings. And some of them disabled user creation, although content is kept.

- How about just posting the link to it here then?

- It looks simple, it might be for a lot of people around here, but it's not that easy. To find the way, you need to find the register URL and you need the registration open. And that could be a challenge.
- It depends on the way the CMS had been setup. I used to work with Joomla years ago - maybe 7-8 years, I don't remember. Depending on the Joomla version, there are user-login and user-creation patterns in URL. GSA (if you don't know it, search the forum for it or use G to find info) knows how to search for these patterns.
- Finding the right URL for user-creation doesn't solve your problem though. I've seen hundreds of old Joomlas containing posts similar to the one presented in your attachment, but useless, because admins noticed the abuse and cancelled user registration. They don't remove the content because they don't know how, probably. That's why they're vulnerable in the first place - admins don't set them up properly.
- The old K2 as a Joomla component isn't the only way you can find websites to use as backlinks holders. There are tons of similar CMS, search this site, you'll find some patterns somewhere. I remember seeing them a while ago. But, to be completely honest, there is only a handful of people doing this manually. If it looks vulnerable for you, it will definitely be vulnerable for GSA or other automatic backlinks builders out there. So they're usually spammed as hell. I don't recommend using it if you don't know how it works. There are people with great results using GSA or RankerX, using links like one presented above.
