At the start of the stream she said was contemplating if she should tell us something and that it was both good and bad news, and after a lot of stalling she finally lets it on that today, she finally got a pet, her family has increased in members. She says that if it wasn't today that she went, then perhaps she wouldn't have gotten a pet, she says that she feel like it was a miracle or fate that she went there today. The chat teases her by asking her if she has place to put down the Roomba she bought and she responds that she truly have added another member to their family, a real pet.

She begins to tell the origin of all of this and says that she has been saying lately that she wants to get a pet, and today there was some free time for both her and her mother so Pekora told her she'd like to go to a pet shop, she doesn't think she'll buy one but she'd just like to go there and take a peak.
So from that they went and at the shop there are dogs and cats all over at the entrance right, she breaks off saying that she hasn't said what animal she bought yet and continues saying she was looking around at all the cute animals. There was staff there in the shop but since Pekora is the type who doesn't have the courage to talk to shop staff she was just walking around and being captivated by all of them, then eventually said staff approached her and asked her if she was looking to add one of these animals to her family, and Pekora unexpectedly answered, albeit stiffly and awkwardly, that she does want to buy a pet.
She explains that had it been her in her usual shape she'd have said; "Oh I'm fine" or "I was just on my way to leave" and then leave, since that is her usual reaction to whenever a store clerk approaches her, but this time she really, really wanted to buy a pet so she managed to steel herself. With the staff onboard she was told a lot of things and were also allowed to touch and hold the animals, and eventually she stumbled upon this pet which was like a meeting written in fate, making her think that; "This is the one, there can be no one else". The chat commends the staff for their strategy and calls Pekora easy, and she says it seriously isn't like that and that they don't understand, the very first time she touched the animal she knew that it was the one.
She begins explaining what it was like and says that she likes animals that are affectionate, like the ones that become emotionally attached to you and this animal was like the manifestation of what she wanted, it was like a feeling it had already become emotionally attached to Pekora. It would even start drooling just from being touched by Pekora, making her thigh soaked in drool, and the staff also told her that when this guy gets happy he drools a lot.
The chat thinks it is a dog based on this description but she says that she still hasn't said what it is so just leave it in your thoughts for the time being. Pekora elaborates on what the staff said saying that whenever it gets stroked or touched it tends to drool but even so it seems to be very happy right now, which made Pekora think that perhaps this animal was born to be found by Pekora.

She says that she also told the staff a joke which is something she would never have done under normal circumstances which was when the staff asked her if she had a name in mind, Pekora who felt like this really was a fated meeting responded with; "Well, considering this is like a fated meeting then maybe I'll go with "Destiny" perhaps?" The staff didn't really feel it and was slightly turned off by the joke much to Pekora's dismay as she would then think; "It wasn't like I was seriously going to name it Destiny!". But it is seriously cute and she now understands why everyone loves pets so much. Furthermore she says that this animal is 5 months old and fairly big as told by the staff, there were a lot of 2 months old animals as well and Pekora had thought of buying a much younger one initially.
The staff also told her that there had been people coming by to hold and touch the animal before, but despite that it was never brought home by anyone, which Pekora took as another sign of it having waited all that time specifically to be brought home by Pekora. The chat wants to hear its name and she says she won't tell them just yet and that she was really contemplating what name to give it and felt that it was pretty hard, since that will be the name it has for the rest of its life. But she had to give it something since it will be the one used to call for it.

She continues praising it by saying that her pet is seriously a genius too, to the point of not being able to think it is just 5 months old, because whenever she calls its name it comes to her. After a lot of stalling she finally decides to show a picture of it and says that what we'll look at is her pets first time on the toilet, this was the first thing Pekora saw and thus she wants it to be the first thing the nousagi see. Talking about the toilet reminds her that this pet also immediately figured out where the toilet was and furthermore he is a shy one, as she explains that as long as Pekora and her mother were around it wouldn't be near the toilet but when Pekora tried to see what would happen if she went away the guy went straight for the toilet so fast that Pekora first wondered where it disappeared to and searched it only to find it on the toilet. Finally she prepares the picture and says that it is a male, a prince, and reveals the image to be that of a male cat sitting in its litter box, currently using it.
This is also what she was so amazed about earlier when she talked about it coming when she calls for it, since sure it doesn't leap up to her or anything but when she calls it shows up in front of her and that is amazing to her since it is cat after all, making her think her cat is a one and only.
She calls it both u-nyan and goronyan and the nousagi might be wondering why goro and she says since she couldn't really come up with a name and since  she does like numbers she created one from how you pronounce 5(go) and 6(roku), goro. And the u-nyan is from her name Usada. She feels like she has to decide on a name as soon as she can.

Now on to the bad news, they might be wondering why she said there was bad news as well and that is that, in her family there is someone who have allergies right, in fact their household is one where it can be said they have allergies to both cats and dogs. And Pekora thought that she herself was fine and without allergies but it turns out that she too has a fairly strong allergy and laughs, this is also why she said she'd go to the hospital before the stream but she couldn't go today, so she'll go first thing in the morning to get some medicine. But despite that she wants to treasure and raise goro-nyan.
At first she figured she would wait a bit before introducing her cat to everyone, like waiting for it to calm down and once they had gotten used to it, and then introduce him but in the end she really wanted to share with the nousagi the day that she brought him home, considering the relationship she has with the nousagi. And with this she'll be able to frequently tell them all about u-nyan's escapades.

As for some first-time stories regarding the cat, she is so excited about her cat she is having issues starting on something, once again about to start on a story about how much of a genius it is and is about to talk about when it first arrived but breaks off and talks about it crying on the way home. Back at the pet store they asked the clerk if this cat talks a lot and while its voice is rather quiet it will meow a lot when it does, and Pekora didn't really get it at the time since when she was touching and holding it at the store it didn't seem to make any noise at all, so she figured it must be a pretty strong cat but of course once it was taken away from the pet shop it started to whine and Pekora felt really bad for it and wanted to quickly bring it home.
And with that she says that anyone who gets brought into a new environment will have it rough right, and at first that was the case as it was timidly going around the house, sort of like on an adventure but then a few ten minutes later it was running around the house playing, which made Pekora a bit confused because surely this was a cat that they just bought but here it is running around like it has always been here.

Pekora also knows that for the first three days or something one shouldn't mind the cat too much and let it acclimate in its own pace, therefore Pekora is restraining herself by streaming right now because what she really wanted to do was take a break and play with it. The chat reacts in shock and she reads it and laughs and says that she obviously wanted to stream as well, don't worry.

She says that today before the stream she played a bit with u-nyan and that it really doesn't feel like just the second day as he also slept on top of her lap. The chat asks about her allergies and she says that the medicine she got was scarily good, after drinking it her symptoms all disappeared in an instant whereas yesterday she had it rather rough with itchy skin, eyes, and a running nose. It worked so well it is like she never had allergies in the first place, so with this she can drink the medicine, hug the cat, and feel content.
There is also something she'd like other pet owners to confirm for her if it is that they experience the same thing but, is it the case that a cat will be more affectionate when they are alone with someone compared to when there are numerous people present? Because her cat is incredibly affectionate whenever there is just one person present, so is that something common? Like for example when she is sitting in the sofa with her family, then the cat would not go to anyone's place and just sleep, but then when the others go to their rooms and Pekora is there alone with the cat it will suddenly turn very affectionate, rubbing its head against her and meowing, causing Pekora to wonder why the sudden change since it was previously just sleep around, so she calls for it to come up to her and it gets up to her lap and falls sleep, purring a lot as Pekora scratches it. But really it isn't at all like it has just been two days, it is relaxed as if they've spent several tens of years together. What's more is that it hasn't drooled anything since coming to her home, maybe that was just something it did at the store.

A superchat leads her into talking about the previous section again, stating that she didn't expect him to come sleep in her lap after only the second day and as well as wondering a bit how it could sleep like it did, the chat says that cats can sleep pretty much anywhere. Speaking of sleeping, when it was sleeping on her lap, her leg started to hurt as she was keeping it still as not to disturb the cat, it dawned on her that while it is alright for it to sleep on her lap that means she can't move, since she'd feel bad about moving it out of the way. She wondered what she should do since her leg was starting to numb, so she apologized and moved it away from her legs but it would just sleepily climb back up her lap.
She was also told that it would be very spoiled at the start, seeking affection, and Pekora is fine with because that is the way she really loves it. And it purrs a lot as well whenever she touches its face, it is really loud and if she records it the next time she'll let the nousagi hear it because it is very loud.

Another thing that happened, and she says she isn't boasting with this but perhaps her cat really is a genius, because when the cat was around and she was in the kitchen, she'd hide from the cat, listen to it walking around and then call out for it, the cat would come around the corner in front of her. Then when she'd call out its name as it found her, it would bolt away. She'd repeat this a few times, like locking eyes with it, hiding and calling for it, it would show up and then run away once she reacts to it. Eventually she figured they'd played enough and she'd return to her room, and at that time it was the cat who would start meowing making Pekora wonder what it wanted, she'd return and find that she couldn't see it anywhere as if it had hidden itself which made Pekora think that maybe it was imitating what she just did earlier. Then when she found it, she'd imitate what her cat did earlier and run away, then they'd repeat that a few times until Pekora got tired.
The chat calls her a doting parent and she says it isn't like that, he is just easy to get attached to, energetic, and a genius, it is amazing.
