>And you are currently on break from your job at Kaima-Sushi, watching cat videos on your phone when it suddenly buzzes.
"Ye-" is all that you manage to say before Pinkie machine guns out three full sentences in what feels like less than a second.
"Pinkie, Take a deep breath and repeat that a little more slowly, okay?" you reply to your still rapidly talking friend, worried about the obvious panicked tone in her unintelligible jet speed speech
>"Anon, Sirens, MIND CONTROL!" Pinkie hollers, her volume making you hold your phone away from your ear.
"What!?" you reply, what did Anon have to do with the Dazzlings?
>"Anon was at Taco Jack with Sonata Dusk and when I told him about the mind control he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about!" Pinkie explained.
"But their gems were destroyed, they shouldn't be able to control anyone!" You shoot back as worry blooms in your chest.
>"But what if they got them back thanks to Equestrian Magic!?" Pinkie counters, tuning worry into Panic.
"Have you called the others yet?" You inquire already quickly tossing off your uniform and trowing on your new leather vest.
>"I was just about to!" she confirms in a chipper tone.
"Good, tell them to meet up at Taco Jack!" You say as you get Ready to leave "I'm on my way right now"
>"You got it El' Capitan!" she replies before hanging up.
"Mr. Wu, I need to head off early, there's an emergency!" you explain to your boss, who gives you a look before nodding.
>"Hai Hai, you can make up the time by coming in tomorrow" he replies evenly, waving as you quickly make your way out
>By the time you get there both Pinkie and Rainbow are waiting, Rainbow looking annoyed and Pinkie bouncing on her heels.
"Where's everyone else?" You ask, noticing Rainbow's disgruntled mood
