Introduction to the Memelord Project

THE MEMELORD PROJECT
The DI-X Memelord Project (DI-X: MEME) is a new initiative I have created in an effort to spread my love for the weird and wacky Pokemon in all forms of competitive Pokemon, from everyone’s favorite Dugtrio+Durant trolling to my, as @Ketchupplant called it, “crazy Japanese meta” sweeping Celesteela. With this project I hope to gather odd sets, strange teams, and provide guides to creating meme teams with success. After all, no meme is a good meme if you get 4-0’d every time you use it. The Memelord Project will contain three types of articles: shorter articles (a few paragraphs, the set, and calcs) on individual meme ‘Mons themselves, longer articles detailing successful meme teams (meeting the requirements for the previous type of article, but containing at least two “meme” Pokemon and their supporting teammates), and the aforementioned guides on how to create some great and unexpected teams for yourself. As this project evolves, I hope to invite other dedicated memelords to write articles and partner with me, and also give suggestions for future topics.
